Yes - he showed me the email, just not sure when it's going to hit the bank account, could be Monday or payday the week after but :j:j:j Just felt the belt was getting excruciatingly tight before and we have some breathing space to clear up the loose ends.
Must use this as an opportunity to get back on track with putting money away for the bigger things and will adjust the budget for a "holiday" fund as such, even if it only covers a week camping.

Had a lovely day so far. Got a few jobs done in the house and then as the car is in the garage I decided to potter to the local shops to see if I could get everything I need. What a success that was :j
DD and DS's birthdays shortly - got them 4 really good presents for the costly sum of £8.48 - includes 2 books and 2 board games :j
Three Father's day presents bought for £18 and got cards off the market for about 40p each which look a lot more expensive!
Got a few foody things off the market and some stuff the kids needed. Think I have spent about £40 in all but if I'd have shopped online I probably would have spent about £100Also means that I have done stuff today instead of having to do it at the weekend and will be able to relax instead
Amazing how buying things a lot cheaper can be a boost as I think the kids will really like their presents as well even though they are from charity shops.
Off to collect said children now - oops!1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Hi IMD, been away for a while and I've just found your shiny new diary.
