Extension - well if quote plus 10% comes within FIL budget - why not?

Bonus - not so sure OH would enjoy 'ball bolognese' so hope, for his sake, the bonus appears in this pay!

PS Money is so boring, me thinks.............wonder if I offered a frugal life forever and no more debt how it would feel (but I am sure in 2050 (!) I wont be thinking that)

Well we got the quote and the cheapest one isn't as bad as we thought but not sure whether FIL has the available funds. OH is of course dragging his feet on making the call :mad: and I am being patient and pretending it's never happened (honest;) )

Money front not much happening - got Natwest Statement just to remind me I am paying horrendous interest. Going to shift one balance to another card next week and once that is done hopefully there will be the domino effect with the MBNA cards when they come up with some offer, they seem to only do it when the card is 0 balance so here's hoping - horrendous interest being paid at the moment but positivity shall remain.

Payday either tomorrow, Sat or Monday - whenever they decide - oven will be preheated on 230oc in the event that bonus does not arrive and I have to roast OH's privates! Hoping we get paid tomorrow as his salary is due on 26th which is sat, so maybe they'd pay it early??

Think we haven't really spent much this week, but we did have a night out at the weekend which took up a lot of our weekly budget so there wasn't much to spend anyway! Nice social weekend planned but all at people's houses so should be cheap.

I usually find if I am due to be paid on a weekend it is paid on the friday as the bank don't do any processing over the weekend.

Hi, just catching up and spotted this. I got a 0% deal for money transfer yesterday with MBNA. I was doing my daily checks (learned from hypno) and I spotted it, it wasnt there the day before. I applied on line and today it tells me that I was successful, (Like you I agonised over trying in case I was turned down). Same thing happened with barclaycard today, told yesterday there were no offers and today there they were. I wonder if the question triggers them to do it? Anyway, just thought I would let you know in case it is worth you checking. I am learning lots from you all regarding shifting stuff around. Just hard to swallow the extra addition but I consoled myself with the fact that the fee for the whole sum is less than the interest I would have paid in one month alone!
