Hey IMD,
I'm sorry you are feeling down and going through a bad patch, but you ARE doing well - honest!
As for buying your children's shoes, I am professionally obliged to say that it counts as a necessity and that you shouldn't feel bad about it in the slightest!(I know it's money you would like not to spend, but some things just have to be bought).
Please, please sort out the 0% deals ASAP (and I know how horrible the thought is cos I've go to sort out my car insurance this month and I'm not looking forward to it) cos I think once it's done you will feel that a great weight has been lifted off your shoulders. Check your credit rating first (Experian), aim for 0%. and if ou can't get 0%, go for the lowest rate you can get. Did you see what Martin wrote about secret lower rates offered by CC companies if you transfer to them? It could be useful for you.
Chin up, IMD. And tell that hubbie of yours to remove his finger from his bum and sort out about the bonus else an irrate Pickle will come round and vinegar him for you! Please call me 'Pickle'

Helloooo! Remember, my minimum payments were £2200 a month, now they are down to about £400.......It does get better, and you CAN do this.
I would have been gutted had my bonus not come through last month, so I can certainly empathise with you there. Damned people keep moving the goalposts in life!
Keep going, you are doing fabuously, even if you don't always realise it yourself :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Thank you Hypno - still not a brilliant night's sleep last night but hopefully I will get there in a few days once the new situation sinks in.
Asked OH to ring up the CC last night, he told me to do it, pointed out card is in his name, he just didn't get it :brickwall:
Asked him to ring the tax office today to get his tax code changed as it is wrong and they are charging him too much - he told me to do it :brickwall:
He mentioned getting a quote to get the roof fixed - where he is getting the money from for this god only knows?
One good thing is found DS's birthday present on Tescos online and have enough vouchers - do they double the vouchers up on the website anyone know? Means effectively it will have cost me nothing!
Cards are being removed from purse today and I will have an emergency £1 on me - tough times call for tough action. Mystery shop today as well :j1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

I don't think they do double up, but at least you will have half the cost covered even if they don't!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
