Thanks everyone - I feel like a weight has been lifted - and the thing is, we managed to pay everything every month anyway so didn't have problems.

Have just been & purchased a set of digital scales & a big whirly for the garden. Whirly so clothes can go out in the wind (the clothes horse blows over) and the digital scales for my ebay attemps - I will look out some stuff tonight as DH is away to his leaving do at work & I want to be productive.

Whirly will be put in tomorrow (also bought concrete) as DH will most likely have a hangover & not be up to going out and e-bay attempts will start over the weekend too - I've heard that the best time to have your stuff sold is a Sunday evening. And yes, the first stuff I will sell will be just wee things so I can get my feedback up and running.

A wee question folks & I don't know if anyone can help me

In the dark distant past when we first got a mortgage it was an int only & we had an endowment - but things being what they were the endowment stopped getting paid. Not an issue now as we're on a repayment mortgage but will we be able to receive back the amount that we paid into the endowment or would we lose it as soon as we stopped paying?

This might be the wrong board for this but it dawned on me this morning that we might have this to collect.....

Well done on the mortgage overpayment, that's absolutely great.

I need to get back on the budgeteering ways again, I've kind of fallen off a bit, and been spending far too much money on I don't honestly know what, just frittering away again so please give me a kick or something to get me back on track again!

Hope you had a nice weekend and once again well done, on everything.
