    Thanks Beanielou,

I'll get there - and I can cry as I hoover so it's productive mourning :o

Anyway in this 15 mins I managed

Wash & put away all the dishes (there are only 2 of us so where do all the dirty dishes come from?)
    Tidied bedroom & opened curtains
Took car stuff out to garage
    Emptied clothes horse in conserv.

I never seem to equal Memory Girls 15 mins herculean efforts though - I always feel my wee list looks somewhat pathetic next to hers

Mail done - form needed signed & returned/Diego's chip details put into house book
Cleaning stuff brought into living room for next 15 min attack
    Recycling taken to car

And after my next wee stint I'll treat myself to a cup of tea :D

Well, the offer is there if you change your mind! You can come anytime, don't think I'll invite myself over to your for tea if you don't mind - you enjoy your lettuce leaf pet! How you getting on with the diet? I joined weightwatchers on line but to be honest haven't even looked at the diet yet - 4 weeks later. Really I must though!
    Enjoy your tea............;)

    Well folks, I'm back

Been a good MSEr today - went to bank to put in last cheque from Mum's estate , have posted letter to lawyers re this & only spent £3.20 - £1 on 2 bulbs from £shop & money on a card for DH's nephew's new house.

    But to the geek bit....
When I was in the bank I asked if I could see someone about how to go about overpaying mortgage - as only 1 c/card left I thought I'd be prepared and was huckled into an office by someone needing a sale (you know how it is peeps)
So when I was able to give him m/g rates, how much mortgage term would be reduced by considered overpayments, how much I would pay if I looked at different products & how long it would take to recoup the exit fee - 'cause as a good MSEr I'd done my research - I think he then gave up, told me how to overpay & let me go.

And I enjoyed the feeling - I'm bad

Off now to tidy house for His Lordship's return - and as it's raining I might as well do it today

Oh - & can anyone tell me how to set Comic Sans as my default type rather than Verdana?

    Thanks

    Take care folks

Well folks, today the last 2 bills that I must have missed last month (but had been acounted for) came in so they have now been paid and I've got a settlement figure on the loan so I'm away to see if I can also clear that.

Oh my God - how good does this feel?

While I remember Beanielou - the diet is going pants :p

But I am trying and cutting out the carbs is hard but I'm trying to keep to it & I do have a couple of recipe books for carbless eating so I rustled up nice meals at night - we like good food so this does make a difference. And at least with the lovely weather eating salads is no massive chore - and I know we're probably having bigger platefuls than we should but it is only lettuce & stuff for Gawd's sake
But it's saving me a wee fortune as I'm not nipping out to buy stuff nearly as often - this is good

Oh God - loan now paid off

Now all we have is 1 c/card which we can now work on big time & 1 loan which will need to keep running for a while as it is a big number.

So once card is paid off then mortgage overpayments start in a big way - and I know we should pay off the card first but I want to start on the mortgage asap - I'm so excited :j:j
