Stovies went down a treat last night

Today has been a lazy day - but I have cut the grass - makes sense as the bin gets emptied on Tuesday & as a good DFW I do like to get my money's worth from the council tax. (should there be an apostrophe on money's - all replies gratefully received....)

Sadly all intentions of a NSD went out the window when I realised that DH had gone to work without his prescription & had taken the last of his tablets  but I've bought one of these 4 monthly season tickets for him so will stock up on his tablets over the next 4 months.

I mean - they're his tablets for his blood pressure(but as mine is rising as I write this I might try some) but I order them, collect the prescription, pick up the pills & put them into a weekly box so all he has to do is take them - surely he can take some responsibility for them - or are all men the same

    and breathe

Not much to report from Casa Clootie.

Today will not be a NSD as DH is off & mentioned lunch ...but if he pays is it a NSD for me?

Anyways - need a wee trip to the garden centre for tomatoes & some mulch & I also will look out the salad leaves seeds as I have a feeling that I will be eating muchos salads on this new diet that I will be starting....

Beautiful day here today so am away to enjoy the sun

Hope you enjoyed the Stovies Saorsie.....

Sad day today - letter from lawyers with details of the final amount of Mum's estate  that I need to sign & return. I know it has to be done but it's so final.

So am having a running about day - visits to pick up prescriptions, drop things off at charity shops & visits to the coup - nothing too taxing.

Away to raid the garage for yet more rubbish....

Been absent for a few days but am back again.

It was good to see Memory Girl the other day - even though she makes me feel so insignificant with her spot on plans and get up & go - but I'll catch up.

Anyway, paid another bill off today & we got a statement in for one of the loans & it looks like we might also get rid of that - that'd be so good.

And started new diet today - Shake 1 & snack have been taken & DH & I have planned menu for week so I just need to go out & buy a few bits & pieces to top up the fridge (which has just been cleaned out & looks empty, but shiny).

Then off to plant tomatoes & lettuce - well, if I'm going to be eating more of these I want my own.

    Have a good day folks

    Morning (just) peeps,

I've been up for a while but as I'm having a bad day I'm only now getting round to say "Hi".

Anyhow - today is going to be a NSD - bad days leave me looking red eyed & a bit snottery so in respect of the greater good - I'm going nowhere.

On the upside - to make me get out of this bad day I'm having 15 minute break/task day a la Memory Girl.

    So on 1st 15mins I have

Opened all windows in the house to blow the cobwebs away.
Have had a run round to tidy house up
Have put dining room chairs outside so I can hoover living room with no obstructions (I'm a devil with a hoover).

And next 15 mins tasks will start in 5 mins & I will report back with all the wonderful things I have done (hopefully).
