anyone managing to get any deals on upgrading to the iphone 4? 02 say dispite being able to have any other phone free on an upgrade the iphone 4 is a standard deal, effectively making my upgrade 'privileges' void and giving me the same as a new customer...AND the tarriffs arn't very good compared to both vodaphone and 3 (3s are massively better)

Apple set the price, the network have almost no control, that's why there are no (very few) deals.

this can't be true as 3 is so much cheaper than 02. if aple set the price it would be standard across network

On 02? how long have you been with them?
All the sales people, who i generally like and get along with seem to be very arrogant and in this situation quite rude about it...apart from 1 nice girl who seemed to see where i was coming from about 02 pricing/no discount for upgrades etc
