I think it would invalidate the deal because IIRC it said you would have to stick to original package and not add or change anything otherwise your offer will go.

Has anyone made any changes verify this? I opted for Sky Sports 1 only, but have been given a free three month trial of all Sky Sports channels. I was planning to keep this on as it's only £4 extra...but not if my bill goes upto £50!!

I'm sure i read it in the terms and conditions somewhere not 100% but check it up. It will be on the contract they sent you through the post i think.

I finally got my £50M&S afte rchasing them up three times. If they tell you they have ordered and is on its way, dont believe them. Call a day later and check if they can see that the vouchers has been ordered.

My 12 months is almost up on this Best Buy offer. Let's see what they offer. Think I will defo be cancelling unless it's a simialr, though highly unlikely they will.

Anybody got a decent retention deal??

Cheers loofer for digging out this thread and posting, I was planning to do that, but was bit lazy :-).

Mine ends on June 20th, so I have set a reminder to call them 31 days in advance and give a notice to cancel. Unless I get the same deal (which I am pretty sure wont happen), I will cancel.

Tomorrow I am getting a free upgrade of sky+ box (got this offer a week ago from sky. no charge, no extension of contract), so need to go through the T&C carefully to ensure that I can still cancel in a weeks time.

Gave them a call. I knew they wouldn't give me the same deal again so I had decided I was going to cancel and I could live without Sky.

The chap tried offering me all sorts but just knew that I wasnt interested unless I got something similar.

In the end he offered me the same deal for the next 6 months but without HD (don't think I'll miss it anyway, definately not worth the extra tenner.)

So Get variety pack, style & culture & knowledge ... all for £10.75pm for next 6 months. great thing is that I'm not tied in for another 12 month contract. It's just a rolling 30 day contract. Sky can expect another call from me in 6 months time:D:p

That looks like a good deal, especially if there is no 12 month contract. I will try my luck in a weeks time and let you know what happens!
