These were VERY small VL! :rotfl: Like, about the size of a labrador :rotfl:
Oh, and the woman serving in the tea shop said asked if my friend was my daughter  Not only am I only 30, and therefore not really old enough to have a fully grown daughter, my friend is 39 years old!
Obviously she's wearing her age better than I am! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Eek! Cheery! How un-cheery of her! Mind you, fake crying will put years onto you (even if you hadn't yet done it - I can't believe you're wearing your years badly, she had the wrong glasses on).2023: the year I get to buy a car0

To be fair, my friend does look about 12, but still :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: And that was *before* the fake crying/big red eye incident! :eek:0

Pippi will back you up, I'm sure - hasn't cheri met you too?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I have indeed and there is no way I would expect you to have a grown up daughter even if I only just saw you in a cafe. If it makes you feel better the woman on the train asked me last week if I wanted the over 55 ticket
and that was AFTER I had my hair coloured!
I think that you can put it down to her either
1. having aspergers syndrome and so no social skills
2. her contact lenses had fallen out
3. She had a cinder in her eye and couldnt see properly.
4. she is just plain silly. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Quite right too!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks
(my friend does look *really* young :rotfl: But I also think the woman in the shop was (a) not paying attention, (b) extremely old
She was also too busy telling me why I didn't have to pay for my tea - because that man (friend's boyfriend) had just paid for two teas, and my daughter (friend) hadn't had one (she had, but I didn't protest too much, because I got a free cup of tea, which went some way to making up for the insult! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Jeez silly woman!
Steam trains the size of medium-large dogs are even better...like hot smelly pets! I want one!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0 -
It was rather fab
Worn out today. Left the house at 7am, went all the way to London, sat in a conference, did a scary presentation (that turned out to be not-so-scary after all), then went to the pub (er, ok, two pubs :rotfl:) then came all the way home, coupled with a late train and mad dash from one end of Retford station to the other, and just got in and put the kettle on
<yawn>
In York again tomorrow, so leaving at 7am again - pah!0
