Thanks you lot :D There's a few more photos knocking around, but the others have got my face in :D They were for a mate who was setting up a corset making business (she made that one, obviously) - all gone on her website. (must confess that I didn't get a chance to vet the pics before they went up  and had to get a couple removed. Bit annoyed to be honest - if you want pics of people in their underwear, best to check if they like them first!) :D

    Anyway - soap making :D I use

    this tutorial

Lots of dire warnings about caustic soda etc - but just be careful and you'll be fine. I do mine by hand - and the damn stuff NEVER sets, I usually end up leaving it til the next morning, remelting it, stirring it again, and it's fine. Only done it 3 times though! Lots of experimentation, and plenty of internet sites - but I found it there first, and it's pretty simple to follow. I'd probably recommend using a hand blender if you've got one (I've never done it, but it's meant to work more quickly! Follow instructions though - although you'll have to find some yourself I don't have a clue!)

Hi Cheery - just looked at your blog - you really do take wonderful photo's :D Once i've saved enough free amazon vouchers i'm looking to treat myself to a good quality camera and will probably pester you for tips then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anywho's, when you mentioned a weekend project involving the pics you'd taken i thought aha! and had an idea  of what you might be doing. My idea for your pictures was that you would use them to cover a wall - if you have any sorts of half size walls in your house - or at least that seem half size due to a shelf or something? Anyways i thought you'd pop all your pics up there and then cover with a good clear plastic - so they keep the quality too - i actually thought they'd go up in your loft / study / creative area.

I have seen this done very effectively with all black and white pics and would love to do something similar when i have the right space for this :) Will see if I can come up with any other ideas for you - did like them grouped together in the 2's and 4's too

Thanks Dedicated! Strangely enough, our bathroom is just like that :D but with illustrations from old children's encyclopedias and magazines :) Will take a picture one day...

Other than that, there ain't much free wall space in this house :rotfl: but we'll see :D Good ideas! :j :j

Very much in need of cake and custard here :o

Ooh that would be lovely to see :D - Also meant to say thanks for soap recipe :j

Other (perhaps obvious :o) thoughts were - you could sell them - have a little Cheery stall at one of the fairs :j:j:j
Make coasters with them although they may be too nice to pop a cuppa on top of even if they are well protected ;)
As i think you suggested in your blog - mount onto card - where you cut a slit in the card so 2 corners of the photo could go in to secure it et voila - a lovely card and gift all in one :D

Definitely in need of cake and a cuppa here too although i have instead got a glass of wine  and no cake :(

Forgot to say  at your friend not checking if you were happy with the photo's first i too would have been a little upset but sounds like it was all happily sorted out :D

Largely sorted out because I vowed never to pose in my underwear for anyone ever again! (well, within reason, of course :D)

Good ideas there anyway, never even occurred to me to sell them! :rotfl: But to be honest, this was a little project just for me - so these ones will be going on my wall - although actually I wouldn't be averse to considering selling something similar in the future - we'll see :j So thanks for putting the idea into my head! :j :j :j

I don't have cake either, but got some apples and dates stewing, and will make a kind of vague crumbly style topping (probably just oats and sugar and cinnamon - into easy this evening :), bung it under the grill, and knock up a bit of custard :D That should satisfy me I think! :j

I'd best not comment on PhD stuff in public.. if only the rolling eye smiley was still around!

Was thinking about you last night as saw a fab folky band with a flute player :)

Best not Squizz :D No news so far this morning - although I did have an email from the graduation team on Saturday (!) saying they'd check on Monday, and if my record had been updated they'd guarantee me July graduation :j So now it just depends if the bloke DID do my stuff on Friday like he said he did... No news yet - wondering whether to chase - but have more important work things that I'm avoiding first!

And which band did you see last night? I'm intrigued!
