I have been getting the bus for some trips EH. I tend to walk to the station in the morning (more reliable, all downhill, and I geninuinely don't mind!), then get the bus from the station to work (I'd normally walk this too, but that means 5 miles of walking altogether before starting work, and I'm getting a slightly later train, so bus means I get here at a reasonable hour.

On the way home I walk back to the station (because the bus gets stuck in lots of traffic, and it's a nice way of clearing head), and then get the bus home from the station at the other end (because it's nearly an hour, all uphill, and I NEVER feel like walking that!). It actually works reasonably well :D

I'll be fine, I've actually been doing 2 days a week of this for the last 6 months! :rotfl: Just coming back after a break and being a bit, er, hormonal :o (probably causing most of the achiness, to be honest), not a good combination! Still, I'll get a decent kip tonight then I'm here tomorrow, then working at home for 2 days (which I can do on the sofa, in my pjs and wellies if I want :D), so that should see me right :D

Back to it - plenty of breaks and tea today! :T

It is hard to get back to work after a long break. Concentration levels take a time to get back to normal. All that exercise will be adding to your acheyness as well as hormones. I know that you want to get your Phd finished but would it help to do something nice on the train like knitting or listening to music for at least one of the journeys? Do you still have your fold up bike would that cut the walking down?

Well, the evening sounds lovely, Daffs - I'm sure you'll be fine, as folks have said, its just about getting used to it. Take lots of care of yourself.

    Hey

Hope you have a nice day tomorrow in your pj/ welly combo!

I'm still recovering from a horrible cold, I've been off work all week but I can't stay home any longer as I'm literally going loco.....

Anyway have made my first present of the year!!!:j some lemon curd for my Dad's b'day on Friday.
More present making on weekend as have a few things coming up in the next few weeks so will be busy then!

I was going to ask your advice on something and now am completely at a loss as to what it was. Hopefully once I'm back at work my memory shall return....
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
