Ooh, I'll look out for that! :j

Need to also figure out what to do about the tube strike.... My ticket (the earliest they could get me without it costing ludicrous amounts) gets me in to St Pancras at 10.05 - the conference starts at 10.15 :rotfl: The tube apparently would have got me there for 10.30 - which is fine. But walking will take me an hour - fine, but then I'll be rather late :D

I'm thinking little foldy bike might have to come on a adventure with me... much as I don't relish the prospect of cycling in London!

Take a bus! Check it out at https://www.traveline.org.uk - that might not be the end of the web address, but its definitely traveling something ..... or a taxi. Or a motorbike taxi, like Martin does!

Hey Cheery, no text I will PM my number again later. Just heading off to Colwyn Bay but wanted to pop on here first. Must remember to take my camera with me. Although I am driving to an office, meeting and driving straight back. So far this week I have spent 12 hours driving add in another 4 hours today and I think I will be collapsing tomorrow:)

Love the idea of living in a lighthouse. If it is up for sale again are you going to go and at least view it? Could be part of your picture project!

Its raining in Aberystwyth today but is warm and still beautiful.

Maybe I will put it in my signature! :rotfl: :rotfl: Will remind me of my challenge at least :D

Don't think we'll go and view it cherisong, might be the cause of lots of tantrums from me about why we can't go and live in it :rotfl: And sadly, it's not on the list of Trinity House Lighthouses - and they're the only ones that go in the calendar :rotfl: (could argue that it's good practice though!)

I've texted you again cherisong - sent it to the wrong number yesterday, someone else is probably very confused! :rotfl: How exciting dashing off to Colwyn Bay! Use to go there as a kid :D Yes, take your camera! :j :j Must remember to charge mine up for the weekend, getting Soooo excited now!

Colleague just phoned to cancel our trip to town today, which is great, because that means lots more time to do PhD :j (I *think* that's a good thing :rotfl:)

    Cuppa first though :D :coffee:

Thanks KC, will check out buses :j And do you know what, it never even occurred to me to take a taxi, not even a normal one! :rotfl: Just goes to show how MSE my head is :rotfl: :rotfl: because work would be more than happy for me to get one, especially given the tube strike! :j :j Problem solved (although it sounds like motorbike taxi would be far more fun - must investigate!) :j :j

Loving the sig :) and I'm glad you're going for a taxi - there's mse, and there's counterproductive - work is spending that money for you to be at the meeting, and they, you know, want you to be *at* the meeting :rotfl:

    Good point KC! :rotfl:

Just tried to book one of the £9 travelodge deals for my trip to London with my mother - and they're all gone  Most up to £25 now, but I don't get paid til tomorrow, and am going away at 9am, so we're going to wait til after the weekend and take our chances - I'm sure we'll be able to find *something* cheap and cheerful in London - given that we're entirely flexible and can go ANY time during either Feb or March :rotfl: :D
