  • Today I reported my experience with Elite Savings to the Office of Fair Trading. Amongst other things, they said that if the goods were not delivered within thirty days, the company is in breach of contract. This whole business is covered by the "Consumer Protection - Distance Selling Regulations" of 2000. They are going to follow up my complaint. Apart from that, I'm applying for a full refund from the bank and am not dealing directly any more with Elite Savings. The bank is very cooperative and helpful in this matter.
  • Please see below Elite Savings' email to me - similar to what many others have received. So still no definate date when I am likely to receive my goods.

Have ran out of patience & have also reported it as a possible fraud. Will keep you posted.

Our supplier has been informed by the freight company that customs in your country are going to be granting clearance of the container carrying your order, the week commencing Monday 30th August, so this is when we expect your order released to you.

    Kind Regards,

  • And they have reduced the price of the ipad 16gb wifi down to 330 pounds, that a whole £100 less then the normal price
  • I have also contacted parcel force, home delivery network and city link and asked them whether they have ever forwarded a item from elite saving, and I am waiting for a reply. If they say no then elite are clearly lying about there delivery.
some examples of the ones our supplier uses are City Link, Parcelforce, !and Home Delivery Network.
  • And how much money do you people get when you refunded your order????
  • Ok so a complete scam site and I have been had.

The website is hosted by Luna Pages in California. I just emailed their abuse desk to get the site taken down.
  • I too have received an email when chasing up about my order (HTC Desire). I was taken to their site via an advert on Amazon, who i have written to, to make a complaint. I have also responded to Elite basically asking various questions about my order and the companies they use and i have informed them that i will report the matter if i do not get my order or a refund. i have also informed them that they are subject of some discussion boards...so lets see what response i get.

[We are sorry to hear that you still haven't received your order. Our supplier has just informed us this morning that the freight company have heard back from customs who have told them that the container carrying your order is going to be cleared the week commencing the 30th August onwards, so you can expect arrival of your order during this period.

    Kind Regards,

It seems that the answer the same 30 of August to everyone, independently from which country we are from...
  • I contacted the abuse desk of the hosting provider for the sajjlogistics dot com site. He just emailed me to say that all the delivery trackers end with 'AWAITING CUSTOMS & EXCISE CLEARANCE'

Just confirms my suspicions that they have never delivered anything

Said he would take the site down if he did not get an explanation from the owners by tomorrow.
  • My email asking for a refund and my result:
    Hi XXXXX

Your order has already been dispatched a few days ago (17th August) so it's not on schedule to arrive in the UK until the 31st, which is next week, so we kindly suggest that you wait patiently for arrival. As explained on our website in the shipping and returns section, all items take on average of 7-10 business days to arrive to the country of destination after they have been shipped. If you do not receive your order within the next 2 weeks, then we will happily refund you as that's a fair compromise.

    Please read carefully
I am sorry to say that I am very unhappy about your services, the way
things are going and I am not confident to go any further. So I am
requesting a full refund please, and if that is not possible then a absolute
maximum of 8% can be charged to full fill your needs( the percentage can be
negotiated but must be kept under 8%. )
If I find that you have charged more, then I will have to take this
further, quite possibly reporting you because your company does not seem
legit and maybe they can help you to fix that. How ever they might find that
your company is a scam and to be honest it does look that way to a lot of
people. Another option is I could quite easily ask my bank to get me a full
refund, just like other of your customers have done.
Honestly I really do not think that my Ipad was ever sent out to me and
everything just did not seem convincing and I am sorry to say that. We can
negotiate a percentage as long as it is kept under 8%.
    Thank you

Then I replied and said that they have untill the 10th sep
