Same thing happened to me yesterday!! For 67.50, is there any way of gettin my
    money back if so how??

There are three pages of replies in front of your post.

How come nobody has asked how to get this money back before??
  • I also have been robbed by these bandits, they have taken £67.50 out of my bank account without my consent. Stay well clear of them, they will rob you. I just had a look on a loan website called 'The Loan Centre'. The site clearly state's NO UPFRONT FREE'S. I didn't use them for a loan but the next thing I know £67.50 is fraudulantly taken out of my bank account by their sister company called Cornwall Collections. I'll never give my bank account details upfront on any web site ever again. My bank's fraud department are now looking into it. I still can't believe they can get away with doing this to people, something needs to be done about them...
  • has anyone actually got an e-mail address for cornwall collections so I can rant at them. cheers

Theres a few other links on the forum which are linked to this discussion they will be interested to get this also.

If anyone can get a full credit check the company number is 05987716
this will confirm the ower md etc and address

After looking I don't think its this guy, he owns a group of companies the loan centre. cornwall collections isn't down. Loanfinder is but looks nothing like the site and also at the bottom gives details of parent company
I have managed to get a refund of £29. They still owe me £47.50. Go onto the Loanfinder website, click contact us and fill out a refund form. You will get a confirmation reply that they will refund you within 10 days. You have to then keep emailing and pestering them. It took me 7 days and a lot of !!!! and bull stories from them but it pays. They are being investigated by the OFT and have been featured on the BBC news this morning. Please let me know if anyone has any joy. It is worth persisting with it. At least I got something back and will keep on going until I get it all.
  • By the way the Loan Centre, Loanfinder, Cornwall Finance, etc are all the same company. My bank have confirmed this today. They are unregulated and therefore the banks cannot do anything about them but they are receiving hundres of complaints. Keep at it.

E-mail loanfinder UK. They are all the same company. Don't bother phoning just keep emailing every day. They have refunded some of my money but still owe me some.

I was the person who took part in BBC news report today. Like everyone else i am fighting to get my refund.

  • Yes me too.I stupidly subscribed on the 1st september but realised the same day it was a con so emailed them to cancel.
They confirmed cancellation and have now taken £69.50.
I emailed them for a refund to which they refused but as soon as I mentioned the financial services distance marketing 2004 regulation they changed their tune and asked me to send a cancellation form and they would refund within 30 days.
However when Ive looked into this regulation any consumer legally has the right to cancel any contract within 14 days by email .
Ive told them they are in breach of this and asked for their complaint procedure which they keep skirting around.
It was the last money I had in my account for shoes for my son .I am tamping its not even about the money now they should be names and shamed for the sharkes they are.:mad:

Can you give me any help. They keep trying to palm me off with a refund form and say I have to wait 30 days. What actions have you taken please?
