    I reported it to my card issuer as a fraudulent transaction. They say it isn't and it is up to me to contact the retailer!!

    I'm having the similar problem.

    Because it was a debt card transaction the fraud department won’t help! What is the point of the fraud department then?

    I'm waiting on the visa debt dispute line to open at 8am, to try start the ball rolling as i had to wait until it had fully cleared and try to get Cornwall to drop the card transactions.

    I'm fuming! :mad::mad:

    I'm totally guttered.

    I've just spoken to visa dispute line and they will send me some forms in 5 working days, but no one else (i.e Fraud people) will deal with this, as i've used companies like this in the past.

    I want to cry! my own bank wont proctect me because I have looked/used poor credit loans in the past, and cornwall collections is a poor credit company.

    I'm now stuck between a rock and a hard place! i'm £100.99 down and whilst i'd now really love to leave my bank (Royal Bank of Scotland) i'll struggle to get another bank account with an overdraft.
  • If anyone has had funds taken from their accounts showing Loanfinder go onto their website and request a refund form. You fill this in online and return it. It then claims to have received your refund request and funds will be returned to your account within 5 working days. I have completed this. Let's see what happens!

    If it shows on your bank statement the money came from loanfinder go to their website and there is a refund form you can fill out. I have done this today. They have confirmed receipt and claim they will return my funds to my bank within 5 working days. Try this and let me know how you get one.

    I've been told its loan centre not loan finder.

    Not him others have found info
    I think I have nailed them. Reported them to the OFT and Consumer Direct. Consumer Direct suggested sending a hard copy and faxed 0870 900 1918 to Loanfinder at PO Box 4002, Poole, Dorset, BH14 OBF stating that under FSA regulations they have to return your funds to your account within 10 days. If they don't do this you can come back to me and I will give you a number. The guy at Consumer Direct wouldnt confirm but suggested that they are being investigated. I have emailed Loanfinder and they have emailed back saying they will return my funds. There is a form to fill in online. Go to Loanfinder website, contact us, fill out the form and ask for funds within 10 days. They have confirmed they will repay me. I have said they must do this within the next 2/3 days since they have had my money since 26 August. Will keep you informed. Anyone has any luck let me know. I intend to take this matter further.
