Now why would anybody be out in the rain under a brolly drinking coffee OR was it me on playground duty by any chance?
Ah so that was what you were doing, and I thought you were out there waggingDustykitten wrote: »I've filled my tax return and yippee they owe me money so hope that appears very quickly. I've never done it online before so hope I've done it correct.
Blimey you are organised, I usually leave it til the last week in Jan! But then again it is usually me that owes the tax man, so doesn't harm to make him wait.. though when they had to write a webpage 'advertising themselves' and do a video for a dating agency I went ballistic!!!
I remember you telling us about that at the time.

Must be the only school where we aren't behind a high metal fence - pretty isn't it? And I decided they were having some fresh air;) glad I did - they didn't get out at all the rest of the day!
ETA And it wasn't raining too hard...
If anybody is looking for a cheap gift for Father's Day or to put away for xmas Mr m's have Fusion Gamer Razors (for wet shavers) on offer for £2.00 with a discreet England Flag on the handle. I bought 5 because the refills are £8.99 for four but DD might snaffle one for her dad. At £2.00 they are affordable from pocket moneyDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

is he married:)?
sorry, yes, with children. I don't understand what he does for a living but something to do with the design and use of computer/phone chips I think.
We do extremes in our family - and I am probably the bumbling along in the middle one of five, but I remain the one who is the most qualified and had the highest salary despite being a girl even if I did walk away for children so boo hiss to the rest of them.
Off for a bath but I need to S&S the BR first. Some 'orrible small boy has used all of my shampoo which is rather . I am almost glad he is allergic to it.
ETA - DS1 is 7, and is going into year 3 in Septmeber. He wants to start guitar lessons - is it worth it or would it be better to wait for another year? I have to pay for this but it is in school time.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

I only did it as I knew they owed me money and we have the holiday balance to pay this week:D
Beds made, DW on, most of the washing up done.
Desk is a tip and as DH is home for once to put DS3 to bed I'm going to pour myself a glass of red and do HHP.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

We had almost passed before I realised it was you and I figured you would not recognise me as I have swapped cars since we last metAnd yes the school is pretty, I hate to see all the green palisade that they put round schools these days. Costs a fortune and is only there to keep the scrots out and not the kids in!

If they use full size guitars, he may struggle. DS1 had 3 attempts before he finally stuck it out. MIL bought him a 1/2 size (or 2/3?) guitar when he was much younger and we went to some group lessons together, but they weren't really suitable for him and he lost interest. He started again around the time DS2 was born and had individual lessons, but he didn't practise at home and I decided that it was not worth the money I spent. He then decided to choose GCSE music and took much more interest in it. I found a guitar teacher closer to home, who is also much cheaper (£10 for a full hour!) and he has been going to him for over a year. Apparently he is doing really well.
It may be too early for him, but you could let him have a go for a term or so, to see how serious he is. If he then doesn't want to practise, it may be worth leaving it for a while
