All running about done here and we'd only got back 10 mins and the sparky arrived. We have a tracked kitchen....:j:j:j
Just need to fill with plaster tomorrow and start saving for the tiles.:D

My sister went for her interview and should know in a few days. They also viewed the house and should know by tonight. They went to the housing people who said there was nothing they could do because they don't have children, what a load of rubbish so i'll go in with her tomorrow.

Kitchen has been truely dusted and dinner is now on, then kids to bed and i'll head to bed then too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Finally finished the levels for today; I'm not going to do the extras, as I'm still a tad shaky. It's all been done recently in any case, so I'm not going to be a candidate for Kim'n'Aggie, I don't think.:D

Vanilla keeping my paws crossed that your sister can get a house sorted out soon, and a job also - what an awful worry!

'but you're on full EMA, you're an Aim Higher student - you are entitled to full fees and a maintenance grant, so you probably won't have to pay anything anyway and the Uni might even give you a bursary too - check it out when you're back at college'.
Decided had better go an read a bit more about this (DD is an Aim Higher student - wish DS was - don't know why he isn't) but clearly there are more advantages than the free trips. Chances are they'll both be entitled to full EMA too - because they are disadvantaged as the children of a single parent...

Okay, I've done some flying today - kitchen done!!:D:D:D:starmod:

If I have a sudden burst of energy, I may do the living room. The sun's come out, so I may go to the allotment instead.

I've also decluttered DS2 to school for English exam - he wasn't at all happy about yesterday's Maths Higher, said there was loads that he couldn't do - sigh.

I've done the homework booklet for Year 8 - in a break from the textbook, I chose to do half on The World Cup, and half on holidays. I have so many resources for both, I could do half of next year's lessons as well...

Love and hugs, especially for toots, lady-liberty and diva.

he wasn't the only one DD2 hated it - and yet her mates thought it was great - which made her feel worse!
