Good morning everybody. Its a miserable blustery day today. Still.. Coffee's on for anyone in need of a caffeine hit!..
I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR MY ESPRESSO MACHINE (worth £300) at work today so the coffee (espresso or latte's) are on me (bring ya own espresso cup):money:handyman123 wrote: »Morning all, More indoor work today as it is windy and raining. I need to run round and put in extra support for some of plants to stop them being damaged.
I should be able to pop in more often as I will be close to home.
MIL is not good, they have put her on a drip. She's now on a water mattress to prevent bed sore's. She's a tough old bird, I hope she finds strength from somewhere. She likes me to wind her up. She always finishes by saying, "when I've had a drink, that Handy's going to cop it"
Normally I get a crack on the shins from her stick.
If I suddenly go off line for a while, then its cos I've had to run North to give support.
Cheers all, handy.
If ya up north drop in by with maggot....No cake but there's a bakers not far away for hormonally charged custard doughnuts... Do you need those Handy?
Sorry to hear about your MIL...how sobering..handyman123 wrote: »
Or send the men in white coats to take her away, He He Ha Ha.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have emails of various white coated men...they're based in Scottie but know at least one does private practice. Any use to you Handy? I don't like the one who does PP (think he's at least a Mason if not an SJ ) so would be happy to pass that one on..(and he 'aint my consultant so no sweat)...
Or does she need an anaesthetist? One of my school friends I've just hooked up with on FB is an anaesthetist based in North England.....
as for me I have the dreaded A+E @ 3 in this rain :xmassign: for this burn...Soul fish please do the honours (written in code to offend naebodie)

Hi Erme, I won't be going as far North as Maggot, Only to Yorkshire.
As for the the Custard Doughnuts, I think my hormones are balanced enough. When you reach Fossil Status they tend not to matter that much.
I wonder what a shrink would make of Lady H. The only person to take her seriously is herself. When I got back she said the Police man at the station had been rather abrupt and had asked if it was April Fools Day.
Of for some lunch now for me and my dogs, catch you all later.
Cheers, Handy.Mother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

Does anyone actually drink full sugar pop?
I just had some full sugar tango (because there was nothing in the shop I wanted to drink). It tastes awfully sweet, I'm sure I can feel my teeth dissolving and I'm probably going to be bouncing off the walls with all that sugar. Yuk.
Just thought I'd shareadmittedly might be off topic but then aren't all our posts.

I only drink full fat coke (don't likethe diet stuff) and that is sweet (surprised I have any teeth left - although not drinking it now coz of diet). I've just has some squash in my fizzy water and i feel likeit is coating my teeth! not nice. I am sure they are adding more n more sugar to things

Think I'll stick to water. I usually drink flavoured water at work, and no added sugar squash at home.
I find even a can of diet coke has me hyper as I don't usually drink caffeine. Can be useful on a friday afternoon to check I don't fall asleep at my desk.:DA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

If we we were not off topic we would need to find a new home. It's being here that keeps handy sane.;)
If not for NTN Erme's men in white coats would be coming for me.
Besides occasionally I can and do go on the other threads and give advice or support. I even got a Spammer this week. (admittedly he picked the wrong thread to make his first post).:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Catch you later, I have to go and train the Fig Tree now, Sit! Stand! Rustle your leaves. If you sit for me I'll give you some fertiliser pellets.
