[STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] oops Afternoon - had a disturbed night - dogs wouldn't settle in the heat (probably 'cause they did not get their long walks yesterday) so had to leave the back door open for them until 2.30 am (bungalow with back door next to bedroom door and small garden has 6 foot fence in case anyone is thinking foxes!!) then hubbie had to get up in agony again at 4 am. He had weetabix & yoghurt then his morning tablets incl painkillers and he got back to bed at 5 am, but he did sleep through more or less till 10'ish. I got up at 10.30 am did the breakfast and he got up at 11 am. His face is still badly swollen but is was much worse during the night - he could hardly open his mouth but had to eat something to take his tablets. He has just took the dogs out for short walk while I was on phone to friend but is not feeling too good at all. But he has had his 4th lot of antibiotics so they will hopefully kick in soon.
Talking of green tea - a friend once hd one of those food intolerance tests and she was advised to drink green tea but was told that she had to drink 6 or 8 cups of it to get the full antioxidant benefit.
Erme, just glanced through your post but I would point out that the fee for SW or WW is well spent for people who need that weekly weigh-in and support - if I could do it without I would but I like many others have tried and need that support. Also, I feel that your suggested daily diet does not seem appetising to me and also seems much too restrictive - you can't live on that forever, you have to be able to eat normal foods in normal life and I think that you are on a very low calorie count which is not for long term use. I also think that weighing twice a day is obsessive - once a week is more than enough or as Ames is planning one a month - our bodies vary too much from hour to hour to use twice daily weighing as accurate. Also the scales at slimming clubs and Boots are regularly tested unlike home scales.
Sorry if this seems harsh but you did raise issues (!!) about the way we did things, so we have the right to answer surely?Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

:eek: How many cups!! Ah I don't think someone I will be getting the full benefit then!
I do agree about the scales, plus I think going to a club does give you that little push even if you just go to get weighed. I am weighing myself when I get home on the wii (not as good as proper scales but will do it at the same time each week so should have an idea how I am doing)
3 dogs the heat and dogs......... my little minx is so down in the dumps at the mo - we are off to the vets tomorrow
