I stopped being able to brush my teeth for 2 minutes - I'd start to gag etc. Even now, 6 months later I am only up to a minute and a half!

a week before i found out i was pregnant this time i had an abcess and my dentist also informed me that i had a gum infection and had to brush my teeth really hard to make the gums bleed and then use these little floss brush things every morning and evening and then finish off with listerine.

i did this for a month and i cannot even bear to think about it now. i brush my teeth and thats it, the thought of rooting around with flossy things picking food out of my teeth makes me feel physically sick.

with chops, chinese chicken balls (tesco own) made me feel physically sick. i couldnt even walk past them in the fridge section in the supermarket.
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

I had DD on the Monday, and as with most c-secs, they make you have the worst wind...I was in my own room due to DD being in the scubu.

Also I had a poo on the Thurs, I think it weighed as much as DD 11lb....I actually felt lighter and asked DH if I looked like Kate Moss...for some reason he said no??????
Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY

Haha! Actually you can. Well, someone with advanced syphyllis develops sores on their body, and the infection can be spread through the weeping sores. If they were to sit on the toilet and pop a sore... well, insanity and death follows. Fortunately, it's easily treatable and the chances of encountering anyone with such advanced syphylis is rare. Fun fact though, eh?

Oh, this thread is great, it is satisfying my baby hunger and acting as an effective contraceptive at the same time!

She was referring to crabs going back a number of years here some local woman a bit shall we say easy was noted to have crabs and my mum jokingly said look at that you can tell she has got it she is walking sideways my aunt took it all in and believes to this day thats what happens to you its great watching the drunks walking home in her company she will not believe my mum was joking.:rotfl: :rotfl:
Another one she has had a go at me during every pregnancy I have because I have my navel pierced she says " you better get that thing out that is where your baby attatches too " the first pregnancy I argued the toss but she won't change her mind so I have given up.
Really scary to think she has been married 27years and has two grown up daughters of her own and it makes me pmsl evertime I think of her saying it.

is it just me or does/did anyone else drool in their sleep when pregnant?

i never dribble on my pillow when im asleep unless im pregnant. its a nightmare, i wake up with a soggy wet pillow stuck to my face and soggy wet hair.
ah yes another of the delights of pregancy - you produce more saliva when pregnant (god alone knows why  ) and it's one of the many really attractive things I've had to get used to :rotfl:

I didn't when I was expecting the boys, but I did this time with Charlotte.

I also snored really badly which drove my hubby up the wall :o
Here I go again on my own....

The Professionals must have forgotten to tell me about ... darn it, I forget the medical term ... being surgically cut as a precaution against tearing. Anyway, I did NOT appreciate having stitches 'down there' ... :o

... and when I went for my post-natal check-up the nurse whistled through her teeth and exclaimed: "At a guess I'd say a male member of staff did those sutures".

    Oh joy!

i dont even recall the doctor saying he was going to cut me and didnt realise until i saw him with his needle and thread and i asked him what he was doing. mr mob was aware and said the docor had told me.

mind you the end of the birth i was away with the fairies and didnt have a clue what was going on yet i only had an epidural and had given up on the gas and air a few hours previous.

a friends husband says that when they cut his wife it sounded just like someone slicing bacon with kitchen scissors :rotfl:

also (sorry) when they broke my waters they sent me and mr mob off for a walk round the hospital and to get some lunch. the shame of standing in the canteen creating a puddle on the floor and leaving a wet patch on the seat. it was trickling down my legs and into my socks and i dont even think shoving a matress between my legs would have stopped it.
