:hello: Good wishes to all the poorly people and especially "the edible William" poor little chap.
Have you thought of covering the bed with a plastic sheet/tablecloth and blowing bubbles?
Have been reading along and wishing you all well and admiring all the lovely things you have been making :)

might try your weeding technique on mils gravelled front, she gets loads of mares tails and i end up pulling they out by hand every few weeks.

My FIL has OCD over dandelions. If he sees even one anywhere in the garden or on the drive he's out like a shot attacking it with roundup lol.

Last Fathers' Day we bought him one of those Frisker weed pulling "man tools" that were advertised on TV. He loved it (although my OH and I were a bit disappointed that it didn't automatically make the cool "pump-action shotgun reloading" noise they have on the ad) - not sure if that's makes us really sad lol

Hi everyone; just calling in to see how you all are, and to see if there's any more news on dear little William. We've had visitors staying this week, and we are out all day today, so I will catch up with you all tomorrow.

Kboss - a warm welcome to you; I hope you like it here - it's a great thread with lots of lovely ladies!

Hugs to you all. Will catch up when our socialising in the real world has slowed down a bit; it's been a hectic week! Lovely weather, though; it's been like mid-summer for the last few days.

Morning all, hope you are all tickety boo and :wave:to mia's and any other lurkers. Don't be shy,pop in and join us,we don't bite.

Sorry kboss2010 for not welcoming you the other day, very remiss of me. Saw your lovely quilt and then had brainfail. You'll soon find out it often happens to me ;)

Yet another hat added to the pile and a few more squares for the next blanket. Haven't had so much time for crafting as have had to try out some new toys with little J :D. We like playing Snap and doing the matching pairs game as well. He's got a better memory for that than I have, beats me nearly every time :o

Off for a cuppa before getting out to the back garden for a tidy up session and a few trips to the tip. Don't worry, DS will be doing most of the work, yours truly will be supervising.

Have a great day and I'll be back later.

yoo hoo just grabbing a few minutes on here while the girls are occupied 1-colouring and 1-knitting while half watching a film on nexflix.
We went for a long walk earlier and oooo it was so cold, passed a playground on the way it was deserted... too cold I expect, so the girls had the run of it, then we carried on to the shop, Grandad got his oranges and the girls had a chocolate treat each...1- small toblerone and 1-small galaxy bar...they are easily pleased...then the walk back home, it did us all good got the circulation going.
They go home tomorrow DS1 and DIL are coming to pick them up... I will miss them so much, the house is full of fun and laughter when they are here, they constantly surprise me and are an absolute delight
We are all going out for an early Birthday meal for OH

chalky I hope all is well with William love the red cast
jean - thanks for the tips on weedkilling will give that a go
ginny - glad the bp was ok when do you see the doctor?

    Love to all Anne x

Just an update from me - the people in the house opposite have been cutting things down, their trees and hedges, and our telephone and internet line! The phone company can't come out until Tuesday apparently but our lovely neighbour, who has just been elected as the Maire of the commune, managed to find an ex-France Telecom technician who came out and fixed it for us temporarily. He did a good job considering he had to climb a ladder and he only has one hand. The last three hours have been like something out of Monty Python (dogs barking at cats, cows loose in the garden, tree-cutters knocking back the beer and having an almost out-of-control bonfire), but we have the phone and the internet back on - for now!

Will catch up with you all tomorrow. Time now for a glass or two of the falling-down stuff!

Hope you all have a good evening.
