Have investigated no direct flights to your neck of the woods PSSO for months and months and even then it looks like they don't have enough passengers to run the service - shame you will have to clear up your own.......
slowly tho'. Bet those cuddles are working double time for you too.
Been out most of today, so just trying to get a catch up thing going - and NOT succeeding..gggrrrr
Kathy, was going to send an mee mail to you and try and arrange a RDV for the computer spready/telephone thingie ma jig - then we can sort out the bits and bobs into their proper places but again I failed to do so - naughty me.
F1 - doesn't matter how long it takes so long as they make DH well that is the most important thing right now - don't you go worrying over that one - just get a wiggle on with the cleaning because PSSO could be doing with your assistance (well I can't go-and Moneypenny is far too busy with 007)
take care folks I will catch up with you all a bit later got to go and eat something I am famished!
Loves and cuddles to you all
Mrs Moneypenny - if you come across any other Bucilla Bargains - grab them for me!

Elaine - what a scare for you. Please take it easy and I hope that you are soon feeling a lot better.
Jean - we'll fit an RDV in at some point, I'm sure. Time does run away quickly here, doesn't it?
Just off to mash the swede - or 'rutabaga' as it's called here, and apparently the French in my neck of the woods think it's only fit for feeding to pigs. How wrong can they be? They only sell small quantities in the shops here, solely for the British expats, I think!
Have a good evening, all of you.

THE TURNIP (SWEDE if you are English) is rubbish........... too small too shrivelled up too disgusting to even put in soup - I grow my own but they need a bit of frost for my liking ! Yep French time isn't at all like NORMAL - eg you have an appointment to see someone - its never going to be on time if you are lucky you will be within the hour - take along a book or some crochet because otherwise you are sitting fuming at everyone! (how I spent today - I had the kindle with me but DH had nowt but a moody face - boy did everyone know that too)

Then I have been getting all the hedgies ready and they are to be delivered tomorrow. Thanks again for your help psso.
The lady thinks a busy season is ahead so thank you so much mrs Moneypennyand any other kind, lovely people who have fluffy yarn on their needles.
f1 everything still crossed for a quick release from hospital and that your husband can come home for a serious amount of TLC and lots of formula one talk. I really hope you are beginning to feel this will not be too long.
psso what a horrible thing to happen and how frightening,.... As if you have not got enough on your plate just now!,,
Ginnyso sorry your DOH still so up and down. What a worry for you.
Hope you are managing to craft as I know it provides a real distraction for you.
Kathyfingers still crossed about house. Your blankets sound lovely.
pippathat blanket is lovely. Super colours. I have a big Granny on my hook just now too!
Well thank you so much for all the kind thoughts about my toe. Two black lines up and down it but technicolor hues subsided. Still, hobbling but only a bit!!!!

morning all
chalky, did you see sky news over the weekend they had something about hedgehogs on the news loop, they were at a sanctuary saying how the mild (so far) winter and the heavy rains as really affected the hedgies and they will be waking early starting to breed and need all the help they can get especially if we do get a cold snap or snow. poor things
hope everyone is well thinking of the poorlies and hope things are easing and improving.

Hello all from `Dizzy Dora`:D at least I have a genuine reason for being dizzy just now. Felt a bit `swimmy` this morning when I got up but after the yukky tablet kicked in it passed a bit, just don`t turn the head too quickly and it`s ok.
Got enough focus last night to do some more rows of the scrappy cat blanket - on the last bit now.
Bloomin cold and damp here, rain`s off for the moment but I lit the fire as it was still glowing from last night, just to make me feel happy. I love sitting in front of a nice cosy fire with nothing to do but craft. Bliss, so that`s me for the rest of the day. DD & J are off out so peace reigns for a wee while.
Mrs mp - your book sounds like the audiobooks I picked up at the library last time. The first one jumped back and forth so it was difficult to keep up with the plot but I stuck with it, thinking it would get better - it didn`t. Now this one is just as bad..........probably wouldn`t have picked it up but I wasn`t feeling to great the day we went and I just picked up anything.
Hope poorlies are picking up and you all get some peace to enjoy woolly pursuits.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

I am busy STRIPPING........ the wallpaper from the downstairs bedroom - so don't all get too excited. I intend making this at least a one month project - that way I won't have to be involved in everything else going on around me.
I will also take lots of breaks to do proper craftieness and have cuppas,
Glad to see you are a wee bit better PSSO and I also hope that F1 you get some good news about the return of the DH.
Off for a swift drink of wine - I think I deserve that much by now.
Lots of Love winging its way to you all.

the book itself was ok, it was by Alan titchmarsh so an easy gentle read, but christmas came with a book i had been itching to get my mitts on nad then i had a christmassy paperback that i wanted to read over christmas along with all the extra businness that gets in the way of hobbies.
its read now and i think my mum will enjoy it so ill put it aside for when i next see her.
been cross stitching today but now the lights gone i will switch to knitting hedgehogs again after weve eaten. DH wants to watch a dvd and ive got 3 heads already done on my needles so i can easily do the spiky bits while watching;)
have a good night all

Hello one and all. Lots of love tucked in.
So sorry that 2014 has started off with challenges for so many.
I was awake in the night thinking of you all. f1.psso,shaz,Ginnyto name a few.
Then I got thinking about pfungi,DPIXIE,thirzah, anakat, purple Teddy Bear,Laura's tractor, crafting mummy and lots of others
Then I smiled aboutjean and kathy in France
Anyway enjoyed thinking about you all.
I delivered the hedgies to the hospital this morning. They were so pleased to see them and like you say mrs Moneypennythe weather has meant the intensive care unit is full.
So, thank you again for your continued support.
Our youngest daughter is home for the weekend from Barcelona for her birthday. So that will be lovely. I had a letter .. Kind of threatening me today from the Royal Mail... The saga continues of the Christmas parcel. They have confiscated the nail varnishes, dry shampoo and dry shampoo as they are classed as hazardous goods and I breached the law by sending them. But they will overlook it this time!
Interestingly the packet of M & S Percy Pigs have also disappeared but I can not be bothered to do anything else about it. But I guess that is theft!!!
So after dd2 goes back on Monday we are going to make our way down to Spain. I am struggling a little bit just now with William and our little family so far away. It really does feel like grief and I don't think all this rain helps.
So, we are going to catch the ferry at the end of next week and catch some Spanish life. It will be lovely
So we are busy getting ready. Lots of wool to pack!!!!Try and do a good deed every day.0
