Woke up to a calmer morning it's still cold but no rain or high winds...hope it stays that way
anakat - aww he is so cute, the little one will love him
chalky - OUCH!!! not much they can do with a broken toe is there? on the good side have a lovely crafting few daysLove your William Quilt it's looking good, and the handwarmer is lovely and colourful
kathy - wrap up warm when you go out there its cold standing holding ladders...lost count of the hours I have spent holding this and steadying that...when it was only supposed to be for
'a couple of minutes'
jean - thats my aim for this year knit a pair of socks...I have tried but make a pigs ear of it every time...
shaz - hope all is well with you and your family
f1 -I 'found' the 200 knitted blocks in my pile of craft books last night I had forgotten all about it
ginny - How lovely something good to look forward to... Postage is a real problem for everyone now, I am ok with SIBOL blankets as I can deliver made up ones to MrsTwins or she comes here sometimes. When we are in Devon I pick up quilts or drop off squares to chalky so that saves a lot, and we always have a good old chat and catch up we really look forward to seeing them both..Hope you have a relaxing snooze x
When I was tidying my stash out yesterday I 'found' various UFO's one of them a slouch hat I started some weeks ago, its done on a circular needle ( that chalky gave me after it bounced off her wall)!!! going along ok but I made a mistake and got the pattern squiffy...so I ripped it back to the ribbing and started again managed to do quite a bit while watching TV last night.
Right better go get some food organised, enjoy your day
Love to all Anne x0 -

They are lovely roamin. I like the comment in the pattern about patience to finish two socks. The Yarn Harlot refers to something called "second sock syndrome"-the first sock is great but then you realise that you have to knit the second one!
I'm knitting a scarf for next Christmas's shoe boxes but am really fed up with it.I think I have enough sock wool left so will start a pair as soon as the scarf is finished.0 -
Thirzah -never had that second sock sydrome - I just keep going till they are a PAIR - I am currently toying with the idea of knitting TwoAtATime top down or for that matter toe up........ will need to sleep on that one tho' before I go and make a complete shambles of it!

I don't always do the "lacy pattern" but it is a good easy to follow pattern with several sizes.
I also use this cast off.
