    Hello all,

Roamin - nice to see the blanket finished at last.( Saw it `in the flesh` when it was still very new and small in May) How big did it turn out and how much wool did you eventually use ? I like the border as well, very pretty.

Thirzah - how inconsiderate of your DH to stay at home.;)
Never mind you still have about 31 days to get it finished, so don`t panic.

Change of plan for this weekend, decided not to blitz the display units. These 2 days are HOLIDAYS from work so am reeeellllaaaaxing instead. Everyone else is out so nice and peaceful here......for the moment anyway :rotfl:Units can wait a few days yet.

Coffee and cake awaits my attention so away to enjoy.

    Byeeeee.

Roamin, that is so pretty. I finished all the snowpeeps today!!! They look fab. Mrs Mp will send you some more when I go to the Post office tomorrow.

Just been searching my stash for some dark grey yarn and found 2 odd balls - totally different shades sadly :( Will have to go and buy a couple of balls tomorrow so I can finish Ds's blanket. have decided after Chrimbo am going to make a blanket with all the little balls of yarn I have dotted about. I think a stripey one will look quite good.

Found a Father Christmas just needs a beard and its ready for my craft fair a week on Monday. I dont remember who I made it for??? but am happy to have him as the star of the show:D

ginny please feel free to keep the rest of the snowpppes you have for your own craft fayre, it is really kind of you and roaming to do the amount you have already done for me.

    Hi Peeps,
went shopping today and it was sooo cold, I just hate the cold it plays havoc with my old bones...

Ladies I know just how you feel... household items for crimbo...don't we have enough of them during the year !!!

chalky - I hope you had a nice thick cardi and a coat in your flight bag for when you arrived back home. I feel for you leaving your lovely family, it's bad enough leaving our's and they are only in West Sussex just over 3 hours away. The tears flow all the way up the motorway as far as Oxford but have trickled out by the time we reach Birmingham, sending you a huge (((HUG))) xx

THIRZA - any further on the scarf...very un-coperative these men aren't they ;)
f1 - hope 'Edna' has slung her hook now
jean - gorgeous blankie, is the inner part basket weave stitch?
ginny - the "extra" garlic bread was yummy OH don't know what he's missing. I started using all my little balls up a while ago because I was fed up of them all over the place and now have a nice pile of colourful scrappy mixed up squares... one day they will be a blankie ;)
busy as ever mrs-moneypenny when do you find time to sleep
psso - plenty of time to get the units done...just you relax and enjoy your holiday from work... coffee and cake is much more important :rotfl:
kathy - how is your arm now? any luck on the viewing? all questions today aren't I

On my hook at the mo is a lap blanket for a neighbour she is 90 now and is really feeling the cold, she loves flowers so I want to make it pretty, I'm using a mix up of squares from different books

well I better get going and take a look in the oven see how dinner is doing...
Keep warm, Love to all Ax

Scarf finally finished. Not much housework done today but fortunately DH not the type to notice a bit of dust!

I have just realised that I have knitted something for both DDs, DH and GS but not Son in Law so am wondering if I should do another scarf.

The blanket sounds lovely Pippa.I'm sure your neighbour will love it.
