  • Leave the camera at home before you end up in clink- you are an accident just awaiting the happening Chalky (this also explains why I HAVE NEVER AND WILL NEVER VISIT lots of countries). I will bake a cake - and hide the file in it - well I might have to eat a few cakes first to get the right recipe - ha ha
Did I get lots of squishy cuddles from the Wonderful William????? and did I also get to be the Kissy Monster on his tummy/toes arms, neck etc - you get the message I am sure.

ANAKAT - love your dedication - I have just frogged a crochet hat that I was trying really hard to follow the pattern for - that's the second time - so its THIRD STRIKE AND ITS OUT THE DOOR! Will let you know if it works sometime.

Evening all, (knees bend -Dixon of Dock Green style ;))

Chalky - don`t do anything at all, except breathe !! Seems to be so many things you can`t do without causing offence.

Would the song have been John Browns baby by any chance ? I`ve been singing that camphor -amphor -amphorated song all blinkin day, in my head.:D

anakat - Keep persisting with the slouchy, you can do it. I love the hedgie mittens.
Don`t know if I`ll do any though. A little man here has claimed just about every hat I`ve done recently :rotfl: Did an orange one -ooh gramma I want that hat. Did an orange and multi coloured one next, oh another hat for me. Told him they were for other little boys or girls so he had a hunt through the nearest wool basket and decided he would have a royal blue one. He`s got his own blue one now with a pair of mittens on the go - how would blue hedgies work ? and enough wool to do a matching scarf too. Pity his coat is a greeny colour :( Hmm, by the time they are all finished he`ll have gone off the idea probably.

ginny & Jean - love the little bunny and pompom animals too.

Jean, never mind hoarding the BROON STUFF in the cabinet. You need to swally it NOW for that cough, no use looking at it, it doesn`t work that way.
mrs m - driving lessons very expensive here £30 per hour
DS has his test on 12th December, DD has her 4th lesson tomorrow. Wish they had both got stuck in when they were 17 - would have been sooooo much cheaper.
I was going to train to be a driving instructor many moons ago when I got divorced. Wish I had grasped the nettle, I could have been raking in the cash. Ah well...............

Have the next 2 days off so wonder how much knitting/crochet will be done, as I don`t intend doing much of that h.......k stuff.
Be back soon. Hugs to all who need them.

Anakat, that made me howl laughing about the cat getting stuck in the circular needle :rotfl:Love the mitts!

My Dgs, little man of few words has started whispering 'I love you' I have to holds my breath so I dont cry. We relish every word he says but this is amazing as his timing and the beauty of it is perfect.

Got a pattern today from https://www.dandeliondesigns.co.uk for a teddy bear angel. Im making it from cream fleece with a blue check ruffle and wings - for the boy of course. I was going to spend £20 for a kit of it from create and craft but it sold out so just got the pattern for £6 which was a better idea as I really couldnt afford £20. Apart from some socks, another rabbit for a friend and a throw I have nothing urgent before Chrimbo.

Chalky please be careful, I know you would love to stay longer but bloomin heck prison is not a good idea. You sound full of joy, I am so happy for you and know how I would be in your situation.

Hello everyone, posters and lurkers alike.

Anakat - never thought of Sonic. My lot are either too old or too young or just plain uninterested in him. lol.

Ginnyknit - It`s lovely when they tell you they love you without prompting. My little GS cuddles up on my lap for a `BIG squishy hug and a sloppy kiss` (his words) and tells me I`m his best buddy ever. Get a huge lump in my throat.

Well,DD`s driving instructor doesn`t mess about. He had her driving out on the dual carriageway, overtaking lorries etc today. Then for a complete change they went on some narrow country roads on the way back. She was a bit  at first but managed fine she reckons - the car is still in one piece anyway.

Have been good today, cleaned the bathroom and done some washing so am now going to sit down with a cuppa and cake and knitting.
    Have a good day all.
