Yay! The blanket for Sightsavers made £50 ... Bless you SIBOL.

Also there are enough squares for me to make a blanket to donate to the hospital where I had my op so that maybe people will be able to look at it or give it a cuddle if they are feeling apprehensive as they wait for their op.

Still hooking around and around the next blanket for Greenfields.

A quiet day here with washing and slag bog for tea. Still very hot so will squeeze in a swim later.

Love to each and every one of you and just a snippet from Yoga yesterday.

you are right Chalky Owls are very wise, i strive to be one but i could worry for England about the most rediculous things. My Dh things its bordering on illness sometimes. I really should try to let things go and not constantly chew over them.

Hi everyone - Coughalot here! I just can't seem to completely shake off this cough. I'll just have to go and see the prescription-happy doctor if it hasn't gone by the weekend. It's wearing me out, and it's worse at night.

Anyway, I can still type which is just as well because I still have a lot of online work to do.

I will catch up on all your posts a bit later, but just wanted to let you all know that I have finally done the update which was over a week late. You can find it here:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhOgVamMPLdkdDdKVTJ6UWRPLThuejdDaDI0alQ1NVE&usp=drive_web#gid=0

Pippa - I added the snowpeeps on to your column under 'toys'.

Chalky - I put your Greenfield Momma blanket under 'Emergency Blankets' - is that OK?

My update is very poor: 5 Squares
    10 IS hats

hope to do better from now on; the trouble is I keep dozing off in the evenings!

Hope you are all keeping well.

    SLAG BOG ??:rotfl::rotfl:
Think we are on the same wavelength Chalky. Washing done and out in the sun and we are having spag bol for tea. Must remember to tell the family it`s slag bog really.

Kathy - you are sooooo generous sharing your germs with Jean`s DH -it`sgood toshare. My bug seems to have gone now, mostly anyway. Just an odd sneeze at an inappropriate time, usually when serving cups of tea or coffee at work.
Touch wood, no night time cough.

Mrs m - get cracking with the cardies. You never know, she might buy a few for Chrissie pressies.

Ginnyknit - wish I stayed closer to you,I`d love to come and help you with a craft fair. Hope DH is a bit better today.

Ooops, young man has come and says he is sooooo hungry -so I`d better go and get him something to eat.

Elaine - it seems I didn't give it all to Jean's DH - the cough stayed here! Glad that you are feeling better but I will turn down the tea or coffee for now!

Hello all, been MIA for a few days again trying to get ready for our cruise. Met my friend in town today to go shopping for the last bits and pieces, having my hair cut tomorrow, shopping for Mom on Thursday and Friday I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE I absolutely refuse, I need at least one day to get everything sorted and cleaned up before we go. Flying to Barcelona then cruising round the med to France,Spain and Italy

jean - lovely coat shame the model doesn't think so :rotfl:hows your OH's blisters now? it looks like a lovely walk along the beach nothing quite like walking by the sea I always think
Chalky - Yes the SIBOL blanket did very well it was so colourful and imaginative (still gives me a kick to see one of my squares in a blanket) I hope you enjoyed the Nispero vodka and it was made without the skins...you know what happens if you eat the skins :rotfl:Can I ask what is a Greenfields blanket?
kathy - thank you so much I will go change my sig next. Hope the cough clears off soon
psso - yes and I still haven't done it all, I keep 'finding' bits in the most unlikely places.....;)
ginny - I hope your OH is feeling a little better now, I hope you are looking after yourself too? I had a map of the states somewhere we brought it back from one of our travels, I will have a look and see if I can find it for you
mrs-m - I hope the stall does well little cardis are always popular aren't they,

I am another who loves owls they are all over the place here hanging on door knobs, sitting on the little stool in the corner and I even have one on the stairs tucked away in the bottom corner, its a door stop really and I have a beautiful picture that OH had painted for me for my birthday last year as a surprise...BUT am I wise errrmmm I think not I would like to be but it just doesn't seem to work sometimes :o

Sent off my IS Hats a couple of weeks ago I am trying to clear the decks a bit.
