Hi everyone
Lots of lovely links on here lately! I shall take a look later. My cough is finally, fingers crossed, on its way out. It's been such a pain, especially at night.
Pippa - I hope you have a wonderful time on your cruise! What a lovely 'thank you' gift you received from your neighbour!
Mrs Moneypenny - hope your DS didn't get too wet, bless him.
Jean - hope your DH is feeling better; how are the blisters? I popped into our local Lidl's this morning; they have some 'stitchy' bits and pieces for sale (including a large stock of the sewing machines, which I don't need now!). Some of the sewing 'kits' are really expensive for what they are, but I picked up some lovely brightly-coloured crochet hooks for 99 cents for a pack of three. No really small sizes, unfortunately, but I have Nos 5,6 and 7 in one pack, and 8,9 and 10 in the other. Even if they don't last long, they look really pretty standing in a jar! They also had some lovely chunky wool, too, but I resisted the urge this time!
Chalky - we left the door open and it looks as if that snake went back out but when we went to close the shutters the following night, there was another smaller one on the windowsill! It must be snake season! The second one has disappeared now; I only hope it's not hiding in the sofa! It's so annoying because I love having doors and windows open in the good weather but with so many things wandering around out there, it makes it difficult.
I hope the powers that be have sorted out that double-posting problem; I'm just about to test it!

BON VOYAGE PIPPA....................... off to have a look at your snowpeeps as well as your other work............. back sometime, DH is not sharing his blisters with anyone - I do believe he has the original zinc oxide plaster on them with a new bit slapped across the top! I am not the NURSEY!
