Himself is up and OUT on THE bike already this morning - he must have a heavy TV day planned!! While I do believe I have OTHER IDEAS!
Tons of Love and Cuddles to you all - I live in hope that I make it to a
knitting machine today and get some hats done for those poor wee mites in Syria. We are invited out for a curry night tonight so I don't think I will be fit for much tomorrow!

Hi everyone,just popping in briefly.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend. For a change it`s sunny and breezy (warm wind) on my day off. Loads of washing blowing on the line at the mo.
Oh dear Jean............what was it -too much curry or too much alcofrol to wash it down ?? Hope things are better tomorrow.
Speaking of mamils - would they have been in my neck of the woods ?
Saw quite a few chaps on bikes one evening then saw loads of them the next morning when I was coming home after taking DS to work.
Hope you get DH prised away from the telly to go off in the pampervan. Heading south eh ? Like the swallows.
Things are moving on here.
DS was out for a driving lesson today. He can drive, but stopped taking lessons and never got around to sitting the test. Instructor says he`ll just need a few to brush up on things. Hopefully not toooo many as it will be v. expensive @£30 per hour. DD has decided it`s time for her to have a go too, so mum`s taxi might be redundant by the end of the year. Have told her I`ll take her out for practice once her head, hands and feet know what they are doing, as I don`t have dual controls in my wee motor.;)
Doing a very bright orange and multi coloured top for a little girl at the mo, need the sunglasses for it:cool: and scrappy scarves are still using up the odds and ends of small balls. Quite addictive.
Have also done a corner to corner kitty size blanket with odds and ends. Just tied the yarn together and left them hanging loose as I read somewhere that the kittykats like to play with them. Will empty that odds bag eventually.
A woman I work with rescues cats/kittens and other small animals so will not even have to post them off anywhere, very MSE.
Right, a little chap has come and told me he is soooo hungry, so I`d better get the sausages on to cook. His mummy has got a few hours work at the local pub and his uncle is off playing darts at another one, so we can please ourselves.
Take care all and hugs to any who need them. Will catch up with posts when little man is in bed.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Hi everyone; just popping in to say I haven't been around for a while due to a cold I seem to have picked up which has left me with a horrid tiring cough. I've just been getting on with the articles I have to write then flaking out. I think the worst is over now, so I hope to be back with you all tomorrow!
Hope you are all well, and that the sun is shining like it is here today!

Ha ha he is going to be soooo unhappy that you have rumbled him - I had thought there was a motive .......
He came down from upstairs just after 10 and asked did I enjoy it and I say yes I was - he had not realised it was still on for a further 20+ minutes and I got various comments but chose to go deaf! :rotfl::rotfl:
had a lovely few hours with another knitting lady today I met her about 18 months ago via Loving Hands - well we pretty much put the world to rights, organised our donation list for the coming months - we call ourselves NAGG's - Not a Group Group, sorted some donations we have already done - I think we counted up the homeless centre donations and we want to do a further 6 hats each before they go off - I think total hats, scarves, neckwarmers and mitts we have made over 70 items so am very pleased with that.
Made cakes for hubby to take to work tomorrow for his meeting just got to clear up tea and make pack-ups for tomorrow and then Im calling it a day
Hope all are ok - lots of hugs xxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -

Hi everyone from a scorchio corner of France; it really is baking hot here today.
Mrs Moneypenny - your bags are lovely!
Anakat - I just love little dolls and that outfit is gorgeous!
Anyway, headache and cough are going but taking their time about it. I never get headaches normally so this one is making me really grumpy. It's not helped by the fact that DH has no work booked for this week so he has been able to finish off the tiling in the bathroom and has now decided to build cupboards in there, too. It started off with boxing in some pipes, and he has just got carried away. It will look lovely when it's done, and I will be grateful for the cupboards but why can't he do it quietly?!
I managed to finish the first three articles that I had been asked for, although the last one was a real challenge, mainly because I was not feeling too good and coming up with 'Ten Reasons to Go Mobile with your Business' with a headache is not the best way to spend a few hours! Anyway, the chap was really pleased with them all, so it was worth the effort and, of course, the pennies earned.
I finished a pair of wristwarmers (for my Mum for her birthday at the weekend), and am just deciding what to do next, probably some squares. I haven't even looked at the sewing machine for ages but I will try to tomorrow. I popped into the fabric shop the other day for some bias binding, so the intention to use it is there. I saw loads of little things in there that I will start to collect to put away for C******* for my DGD 10-year-old, who has recently bought herself a proper full size sewing machine and is really keen on sewing. I thought a box full of useful bits and bobs would make the perfect present for her.
Anyway, I think it's about time to put the kettle on again.
Oh, I have just done the update which you can find here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhOgVamMPLdkdDdKVTJ6UWRPLThuejdDaDI0alQ1NVE#gid=0
Hope you are all enjoying some sunshine.
