  • have had a lazy morning, playing with some new yarn and patterns that I bought yesterday, currently knitting a king cole magic baby cardigan, the magic is its knitted all in one piece with just shoulder seams to sew up later., knitting it in funky multi coloured baby yarn, and am enjoying watching it take shape.

this is todays effort, id already done the knitting but have put it together this afternoon. the needlecase pattern is from yours magazine. ive got another to finish lining and another on the knitting needles all in different colours.
opinion please, im going to take some to the craft fayre, ive but needles in so will put a warning contain sharp needles on the display. do you think that is enough? obviously i wouldnt sell them to small unsupervised children

well done on reducing your debts F1 excellent news and you will be feeling so much better as more money becomes yours.

Yes we do like the word FREE thanks for that pattern Jean - had a great bargain find this week - DS has been asking for an office chair for his room (I think because a friend has one etc etc) anyway all the ones he wanted were way too much money and any cheap ones looked like the would last five minutes - so what came up on freecycle this week - A LEATHER OFFICE CHAIR - barely used so there you go son, ask and eventually Mum comes up with the goods :D:D

Mrs M - whoops guess what I have on the shelf - 25 more bags to knit, so maybe I have book two, it was a present from MIL a year or so back and at that time probably had no confidence in knitting so tonight while Im in bath I will be reading that one ;) - thank you for your kind words re: debt -have a lovely time at Lola's birthday party and really lovely that you are taking a teddy for Lilly it must be so hard for you all, will be thinking of you xxx

Well all I can say THANK CRUNCHIE ITS FRIDAY - its been a horrible week one way or another and all I can say is Im staying angry and while Im angry Im positive don't quote me on this I don't know how long it will last :rotfl:

More football and Formula one race in Singapore this weekend - great !
Lots of hugs and some love too xxxx have a lovely weekend xxx

  • F1 - you did the most of it with the debt reduction ,we all just popped in now and again and encouraged you.

Oh great more motors and footie......... dh has been glued to the sofa all week - Tour of Britain M.A.M.I.L.S. (for those who don't know - middle aged men in lycra shorts on blooming bikes). I am trying really hard to keep patience but its going out the window rapidly! I am also attempting to organise him and me off in the pampervan - with SIL and her Beau looking after our dogs - I know where I want to go and I know we shouldn't take advantage of dog sitters BUT I am determined to get it done........so watch this space for news of trip SOUTH ........
Oh and if DH continues to watch any further cooking programmes I will have to tie him up and stuff him out in the shed........ some of the stuff he has me 'knocking up' are having a detrimental effect on my non existent waist line! Off for a swift white wine to celebrate then I believe it will be a couple of rows of scrappy scarf.
