Chalky - I've added your five blankets to 'Emergency square blankets'; is that right? I can correct it if it isn't!

After a dull start it turned out quite nice here in the end, although I have been esconced in my office all day writing about virtual phone systems! DH is working in the bathroom panelling the bath, at last; the room has been a WIP for months now but, as he has a couple of weeks off, he is getting as many jobs done as he can. Jean - he despairs of getting any straight timbers here, or any that are the size they say they are! Another French challenge; he will overcome it, but not without a few choice words!

DH usually buys a 'SELECTION' in order to get something near what he wants...... don't go there .... keep your head down and let him mutter onwards!

ive been asked to make a hat with a snail on it for a teen, but havent a clue. i looked on ravelry but wasnt struck by any so ive started knitting a little toy snail that will have to do.

thanks kathy some lovely things there. i think im going to have to hone up my crochet skills and perhaps do a normal hat with a crocheted snail motif on.
little snail im doing is a labour of love its on dpn and im finding it rough going
