Good morning everybody and lots of love tucked in.
I think Pippa is so soon home so I hope this grey rain disappears before then!

Ginny I hope things go smoothly for you and your Dh this week. I think waiting for results is a terrible time.

Kathy lots of gentle thoughts for your family.

jeanhas that cold packed its bags yet and is your kitchen finished yet.? Is your Doh UK bound with all the Christmas stuff soon?

We seem to have been thin on the ground with Christmas ideas this year. Remember the wristwarmers and ruffle scarves?

Mrs Moneypennyhow is the Christmas Fayre preparations going?

    F1 hope all ok.

Shaz have a good rest x

So many people to think of xx

Well my eye is beginning to feel like it is the right size again which is a relief. Typo getting better too I think.

I am busy with a bright Chevron blanket just now as we have a new Great niece or nephew on the way in the new year,

Hope to hear from some of the Mia's soon.
Try and do a good deed every day.
  • re christmas fayre, im thinking i need to make some more keyrings and little bits as im not convinced i have enough. its catch 22 isnt it i could spend every day making things and then be left with loads or i could sell out quickly and have an empty stalll early. im not going to make it to the beginning of the fayre as we dont pick DD1 up from trampoling till the fayre starts so im goping to be about an hour late getting there will possibly miss the first rush but ill still have fresh stuff when people are coming round later. ive got some big flat open boxes that im going to arrange the stuff in to take so if its busy when we first get there i can just put the open boxes direct on the table and sell from those till i get time to set out properly, that way i can stick labels on the ends of the boxes with detaills prices etc on.
last year i took a christmas tree and little wicker backets for things but people didnt seem to want to take from those. and i made loads of mmagic reindeer food but none sold. i think the kids there were too old so i ended up giving all of it away either to houses with children in the street and the rest to the local primary for their 4+ class.
i think im panicing over nothing because DS2 wont be there to help becase after all whatever i make is funds the school wouldnt have had.

glad your eye is returning to feeling like normal size. dont do too much will you you need to be resting.

  • CHALKY - Kitchen - was all finished on Monday the 8th OCTOBER ....SIL and her Beau rolled up for lunch on the Tuesday 9th October BRING ME THIS ROTTEN COLD........I have a jolly good mind to not let her come back again as I am STILL coughing and spluttering, still it isnt life threatening so I will just have to get on with it.
Yep DH is off the the UK next week on his annual trip to visit his family - he is also visiting some of mine so I must make sure I finish the C shopping this week YUK YUK YUK.....
I have just finished a dozen little sparkly pink/silver butterflies to go on the memory blanket for April Jones (LH WELSH TAFIA ladies are cobbling it together). I can't find my mojo anywhere, I have managed about a hundred snowpeeps in total but I can't count them towards anything - I only stuffed about 50 sent the rest FLATPACK! I have about another 30 to go for the local school and that will be me.
I have a notion to make a lovely thick jumper - similar to the christmas themed one that your baby William had on ONLY big enough for DS....there again perhaps he would prefer a raindeer or a santa....oh decisions, decisions - at least they can be knocked up on the knitting machine in a couple of days, so perhaps when DH leaves I will get the impetus to get stuck in.
Love and cuddles to everyone, I do hope you are all saving yourselves for the festivities of next month. You never know I might have shaken this cold off by then!

Ginny hope the foot is a bit better in the morning. It's a good reason to sit with your foot propped up and do some knitting! Have you seen the can can type of wool that you knit into the edge and it makes a frilly scarf? Would your Sil like one of those? They knit up really quickly - I've made a few for shoeboxes this year.

Hope everyone else is feeling better soon.
