Hi everyone. I'm still here but am now having browser problems. I use Opera and I made the mistake of upgrading it to the latest version and it's caused all sorts of problems. I haven't got anywhere with their support, so I will try another browser this afternoon. I've spent ages trying to sort it out and I've given up now.
Chalky - I wish you good luck for the op tomorrow. What lovely surprises you came home to!
Jean - hope you are feeling a lot better now. You just have to let the cough take its course; it took ages for mine to go so I know how exhausting it is.
Ginnyknit - I hope your DH can get the op out of the way asap.
F1 - hope your sister is feeling better now.
Mrs MP - hope you are feeling better, too.
Well, I will go and have some lunch (a cheese toastie using the brilliant toastie pockets I got in the Pound shop in the UK - two for £1), then I shall have a go at looking for another browser.
Hugs to you all, and especially those MIA and will overflowing hands.
I truly hope to be back up and running properly soon!

Hi Jean
I am trying Google Chrome, and may also give Firefox another go (that one went wrong for me years ago).
I went out for a walk earlier - it's bright, sunny and cold here but the air is lovely and fresh and I did feel as if the walk did me good!
Once again for Chalky - good luck; will be thinking of you.

been busy making hats for sailors again this week, trying to keep my mind occupied.
isom, well done with the exercising, you're doing fab with the weight loss. you asked after my boys, well daniel is fine, packed in college, but doing some voluntary work for the british heart foundation, so at least he is doing something useful, til he can get a paid job.
josh on the other hand, i dont know. he has moved away, and cut all contact, been heartbroken for a few months, and even typing it now has brought tears to my eyes. we were so close, and there is no reason in my mind as to why. also he has cut contact with my parents and his brother.
hugs all

Chalky, hope you are ok. I laughed my socks off at your misspelling, Im pretty good at making sense of it though as DD and Mum are dyslexic, so its easy when you do it all the time :rotfl:
Hugs to all who need it.

Hi everyone
Hope things are going well for you, Chalky.
Shaz - I am absolutely sure that Josh will contact you again; I can't imagine how sad you must be feeling right now but, as you were close before, it's my betting that that closeness will bring him back to you. Lots of hugs are on their way to you. I'm glad Daniel is doing so well. What a shame you have to have more surgery.
Well, my poor mum now has shingles, although she is so confused now she doesn't really realise that she has it. She thinks the doctor hasn't been to see her but he has and has given her some medication.
My BIL is undergoing more tests because it looks as if the cancer has spread to the duodenum. He is really unwell now despite all his efforts to stay positive. I am still hoping and praying that it's their recent house move that has made him feel worse, and that the doctors' fears are unfounded. The jaundice has started to return; because they thought he only a few weeks left when he was first taken ill two years ago, they put a temporary stent in to help clear the jaundice. It worked really well for a long time and they decided to leave it in and not replace it with a permanent one; now they are thinking about putting a new one inside the old one, so as to not to disturb too much, so it looks like another op.
I seem to be doing a lot of finger-crossing these days, and I have no idea where all my mojos have gone.
I hope all of you with worries and fears have as good a day as possible. Hugs to you all.
