Hi all
Jean - I hope you and DH are better soon. The cough is horrid but it does go eventually, I promise. I'm only just catching up on lost sleep. Thanks for posting that lovely link.
Mrs Twins - I really hope to join in with the next challenge now that my mojo is very slowly returning. I shall go and check out SIBOL when I've sent this post. Have you tried asking Ebay if they will waive the fees for charity? It's worth a go. You could maybe try selling them on Facebook, too. Lots of people sell things there.
Mrs Moneypenny - I hope you manage to take some time out for yourself; you are always so busy! I remember all the running around when mine were younger, and sometimes you just don't get time to breathe, do you?
I hope Pippa got off safely and that she is currently enjoying some warm weather. Here it's nice and sunny for a change, but a bit cold.
I've been working today but I will definitely do the update tomorrow!
Love to you all.

Hello everyone, it`s very quiet on here just now.
Well, technically I`m on holiday from work but feels more like sick leave. Headache, sore throat, you know the type where it feels like you are swallowing razor blades, and soooo sleepy.Have been taking DS to work in the mornings then coming back and crawling in to bed again. Had intended doing the pre Christmas clearout and some Christmas shopping but I think that will have to take a backseat for the moment. Have a gynae appointment at the hospital this afternoon so will have to try to stay awake !!
Seems quite a few of us have been hit by illness of one sort or another lately. Hopefully most of you have recovered by now or at least on the mend.
Big hugs to those of you coping with poorly relatives or worrying about family members just now. Foggy brain isn`t working well enough to remember everyone by name. You all know who you are anyway. xxFully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Good luck with the gyny this pm Elaine. I am so fed up with the coughing I am taking myself off this afternoon to MARCH rapidly round the nearest lake - spluttering all the way, in a vain effort to shift some of the yuk!
Its week FOUR now and I really am fed up with it all!
Sending you all love and hugs, 'cos I know they are very important and I will pop back when I can. I am currently fighting with a knitting machine - which doesn't want to play - but I am blowed if I will give in!

Hi all - I've been having problems (again) with my internet connection. It seems to be OK now but I am having some other problems which I'm trying to sort out (my email page doesn't load properly, and neither do some images on things like Pinterest). As I'm not the most technical person in the world, it's all a bit baffling!
Hope all is well; I will post a bit later on today. Hugs to you all.

Hello one and all ... Lots of love tucked in xxx
Well we have had a very protracted return from Spain. We had a friends 60th birthday as soon as we got back but it was in Hemel Hempstead so we went straight there from Alicante then we jumped on the train and went to Chester to spend a few days with some other friends. Then we caught the train from Manchester to Newton Abbot.. What a lot of hooky time!!!
We knew as soon as we got home Dmil would want us settled so got that all done first. When we were just about to jump in a taxi to get to our little village who walked in as a surprise but Dd2. She was supposed to be in Italy but the boat is being shipped to the USA so she has been given a holiday until it arrives in Miami! Can you imagine how we felt. I cried I can tell you.
Then she drove us home and we came into the house and who came crawling around the corner whilst mummy and daddy were hiding... William... And we were not expecting them until next weekend so more tears.what a wonderful homecoming.
I will read back to catch up on all the news but Pippa asked me to send her love. She texted me to say the cruise is going well but they could not dock at Gibraltar because of a storm!! The last I heard they were in Benidorm and the sun was shining.
Lastly has anyone got the address where the Momma blankets have to go ? I have emailed Lou but no reply as yet. I think she has hospital appointments this week.
So do I .. Trying to keep really calm about op . I really hate hospitals though. Still just imagine what it will be like to type again without it being wonky
XxxTry and do a good deed every day.0
