    Afternoon all :hello:

I did start a post this morning but had a brainstorm and lost the bloomin lot ...then OH wanted to go out to B&Q...its diamond geezer day today so he gets 10% off everything,so being over 60 does have its perks...and aches and pains...:rotfl:
Today though as we are buying kitchen end pieces he can use his trade card so he gets 20% off :T

chalky - O wow what a gorgeous blanket, and the colours are lovely. Glad DD2 arrived safely even if she was done up like an eskimo ;)
ISOM - well what can I say :rotfl:
mrs - moneypenny - you sure have been busy with those trees, surprising how many bags it fills when you have a chop at them isn't it? fingers still crossed :)
jean - O thats goos nice to know you are speaking again ;) IKEA hmmm...well... been a few times, got our bedroom furniture from there and that is fine, but it's a great big rambling barn of a place and the queues at the checkout when we finally get there are sooo long:eek:
:wave:MrsTwins off to have a look on SIBOL next and then go check up on Rav posts
psso - 140 thats a lot, funny thing is I can manage 200 on a crochet ripple and it doesn't bother me but a knitted blanket always seems to take forever, hedgies on the other hand fly off the needles.
ginnyknit - Thank you yes it is such a relief to know something is on the right track. Glad your OH has a hobby he loves and its good he has a friend to watch over him, also good he can sleep as and when he needs it, the oncologist told OH if he felt like a sleep to go ahead and have one, even now about once a week he flakes out and sleeps for hours...it's just one of those things but it does get less as time goes on x
The SIBOL blanket I am finishing off is mainly pink It's so pretty, I have another to start on which is mainly Lilac shades daren't open it yet though ;)

I have been naughty lately had a few hours on e'bay buying wool, not that I need any but I want to do myself a throw in different yarns I bid on some Reggia and 2 lots of Noro all at very reasonable prices and won them so I am well pleased, also have started to change some of my hooks as my hands are aching a bit lately so I treated myself to some clover ones in the sizes I use most 3, 3:5 and 4mm

off to get dinner sorted so TTFN
    Anne
    x
crikey I don't come in for a couple of days and do a weeks post in one :rotfl:

    Hello lovely ladies,
Hope we are all ok tonight have read back the last few days but........ have lost the plot and cant remember half of what people have said - have now decided to just blame being "peri-menopausal" as this sounds better than saying im just a complete fruit loop!!!!! (and at my age I think you can get away with it)
Anyway to the bits I can remember...
pippa - so glad to hear things are getting sorted - hubby sounds like an absolute trooper kitchen is going to be lovely - big hugs to you both xxx
mrs m - hmmmm papers in the attic and lopping trees sounds like you have been manic please please please dont go knocking yourself up though - we do love you and dont want to see you laid up xxxx

roamin - I laughed so much when I read about Ikea - hand on my heart everytime DOH used to go to Ikea we ended in near divorce (as did most couples around us!) one time we argued so much that by the time we got home and unpacked the car and i asked "where is the chair that YOU picked" well guess what we left it at checkout - didnt pay for it mind so that was one thing - kitchen sounds like its going to be a real treat - pictures will be expected :D:D xx

chalky - a massive huge hug - DS will be fine on her new adventure (doesnt stop us all thinking and worrying about her though;)) - take care xxx

isom - well really ................ flaunting your bits on your Pod I dont know :D:p:D:p
Thanks for asking about the debtbusting - the Money people at the Council are still plodding through it - a lot of my debts have now accepted very low offers which is good on the one hand but worries me that I wont live long enough to pay them off :D if you know what I mean - I have to admit that since moving and uniform shopping and a day trip out for DS over the holidays and OHs car needed MOT my eye has been off the ball (or should I say my hand has been in the pots!)- Ive not got off the wagon but now its September my eye is firmly back on the paperwork again - I worked out today that Ive paid off 1%:eek::eek::eek: well just over but by having my head out of sand at least its being paid for - now Ive got to work at putting money back in pot again - Im making christmas presents pictures will be put on soon to see what you ladies think - keep up the good work with yours - how is Mum by the way? xxx

ginnyknit, kinsey, seaky, salome, k2tog, ptb, psso mrs twins and anyone else my "hormonal" brain has forgotten - lots of warm thoughts and hugs xx
