    Evening all
Didn't manage to get back yesterday I was on a mission to get the last 15... I.S. Hats done to make up my 50, so that's something to update for next week ;)
They are all parcelled up ready to send off tomorrow, the closing date isn't until 1st.October,but I want to get them off early as we have a couple of hospital appointments in the next couple of weeks and a few other things going on, then on 25th we are off down to Devon to winterise the caravan as we won't be going down again until next year.

kathy - if you are reading this I wish you happy holidays and many cuddles from your much missed grandchildren , I hope your Mum,sister and BIL are all as well as possible... enjoy your time with them all xx

jean - thanks for the links, those little xmas puds look great and the little owl's are so cute, I love owl's used to collect them at one time... I am hopless at making pompom's so 2 years ago I thought there must be an easier way...then I had an  and knitted them, takes no time at all and so quick,
mrs-m - what lovely news congratulations to them both
    f1 - a BBQ well done you :T
PTB - nice to see you, hope all is well with you
ginny - for some reason I always find the odd few in a net shrivelled up like an old prune
psso - awww there is something lovely about seeing young ones starting to take an interest in the garden, my DGS loves to be out there its the first thing he does when he comes over "come on Nan lets dig" what he really means is Nan digs and he waters ...everything in sight including me :rotfl:

Need a break from knitting for a bit now my hands are starting to ache, so I will switch over to crochet. I have a bag of squares from MrsTwins for SIBOL so will make a start on those.

    have good evenings all

F1 I have loads of safety eyes am happy to post you some - no charge I was given them.

Had a lovely suprise today. When I was in Hobbycraft recently I got talking to the lady on the till as I was buying their budget range of sewing things to make kits up for Gambia and she said she had some 'bits and bobs' that might help. So went back today as instructed and she had 2 carrier bags full of stuff. mainly the kits off the front of the craft magazines, balls of wool and needles, crochet hooks, embroidery kits, all very useful for the village we send them to. I was really touched by her generosity.

Mrs MP I have a little production line of octopus's in all different colours lol. I love the weather worms and have a pot of goggle eyes just waiting for something to goggle at.

Hi everyone-- Lots of lovely posting going on at the moment! Great ideas from puddings,to owls, to Worms just wonderful.

I took the latest Bright mitred square Lappy into Hannah's toady-- A local charity for disabled children and young people. They were so pleased and put it in their harvest display so I hope it maks them some pennies.

I have been making YARDS and YARDS of bunting for neices wedding today so I am now going to relax and do something mindless.

Lots of love to all xxx

GINNYKNIT - WHAT A lovely gesture from the lady in hobbycraft - it always pay to tell folks what you are doing and why and who for - you never know what might be offered.
Chalky - bunting???? I obviously have missed the previous postings on that one, a little bit of crochet will calm you right down again.
I am off for a "pair o' teeth" love and cuddles to you all will be back tomorrow.
