afternoon me lovelies! Pleased to report a good but eventful day! Work (how I loathe the alarm) and a call to say my laptop is fixed which is great...mum and I have been sharing but theres nothing like your own! Then finally (after much faffing and confusion) booked flights to go and see best mate for a week in June. They come back for good in July so its the last opportunity I have! Managed to fly from Bristol and get return plus bags for £100...then discovered passport due to expire so had to book a fastrack then found my biometric passport which is valid until 2020!! whew and yipee as saved £120! On the wooly front I have almost finished my blanket and will then do some charity stuff!
    Chalky fab youre back in
    Miol...enjoy the work..any housey nibbles?
Socky sorry that youve been dizzy and sick...nothing worse. How is Daniel getting on with his flat hunting?
F1 hope its all good things going on and nothing bad?
    Mrs M hope all well?
Pippa hope DH enjoying having surround sound!
Right off to get supper and do some blanket!
Weight loss going well and am now in the 15's (having started at 18'6) so happy with that and have added incentive to start excercise as my legs very "loose" for want of a better expression! Other bits can be covered!!

    Catch up from 'Mrs Twins'.
    Hi Everyone!

Just to let you know that I have had the whole of the customs charge refunded and also now the parcelforce worldwide charge. So I am a happy Bunny! Thanks to everyone for their advice on MSE and just to say if you are ever in the same situation then please challenge it! It's worked for me. Thank goodness!

I have some postage stamps which I have been collecting for a Lady on MSE. I asked ages ago who was collecting and do you know I have forgotten. So could you please tell me who is collecting them? I will send them along to whoever.

The other thing is we (SIBOL) have been making a special one off Blanket to send up to 'Emmerdale' on ITV. We often see Crocheted Blankets on their sofa and I thought it was about time they had a SIBOL one.

Now I have sent it recorded delivery to Jane Cox who plays Lisa Dingle with a letter telling her about our Group. Asking if she would like it to put on her sofa! :) I don't know whether the Props Department will allow it. But it's worth a chance. I have also said that if they can't put it on TV. Would she please have it herself as a Gift or give it to an Elderly person.

There's the link if you want to have a look at it. Please keep watching Emmerdale in case they do put it on! Fingers Crossed!
Just a bit of fun for our Group!

Thanks everyone for your comments on Mrs Twins and SIBOL.
Thanks Pippa for having a go at the Butterflies.

Hello one and all and lots of love tucked in x
Another very busy day here -- We need a bigger dustbin! But it just a case of sort and clear. I think all the wool is in its nest at least!

Thank you for all my birthday wishes and kind thoughts for DMIL. She is adjusting to us moving back home but certainly misses her cup of tea in bed in the mornings!

We were hoping to have more time to settle before our return to Spain but I think it is a goo thing in one way as we really do need a rest, especially DOH. He is really tired.

Pippa - I hope your DOH gets used to his hearing aid really quickly.
Kathy-- I hope your house sale moves a little more quickly so that you can get the life you want.
Jean-- Hope you are having a lovely family time with your visitors.
PSSO-- I hope your family are well and you are enjoying some sunshine in Scotland.
F1-- How are the money pots going.
Mrs Moneypenny-- What a wonderful day it will be when the twins can be together all the time.
    Shaz-- Big hug xx
Dpixie-- I hope your veggies are growing well x
Pfungi-- I hope you are feeling brighter than you were at the beginning of the year.
Salome-- How are your lovely family?
ISOM What a great treat for you. You so deserve it x
Mrs Twins- Good luck with that beautiful blanket and I am so glad there were no fees to pay.
Ginnyknit- I was sorry to hear about your DOH. I hope things improve soon.
I have not had a chance to check out Loving Hands yet and I definitely think my Mojo has jumped in a packing box and got caught in the tape!
I hope it turns up soon
Try and do a good deed every day.

ISOM, well done on the weight loss so far, your on the right track, some exercise now will help tone up the loose bits. i'm thinking of going to aqua aerobics to get more toned up.
mrs twins, i am an emmerdale fan, and will be watching out for your blanket, its lovely. lou from loving hands collects stamps, she sometimes posts on this site too.

    Morning all
A fairly short post from me today I need to get things sorted, we are picking DGS up from pre-school tomorrow lunch time, I know its early but I want to get everything ready, he asked if he could have a sleepover tomorrow night :j:j:j

Thanks for asking peeps OH is getting used to his hearing aid now, its very "musical" though it keeps whistling at me :rotfl:

ISOM - well done on the weight loss, you are doing really well.
mrs-m - thats good news a step in the right direction.
shaz - so pleased the meds seem to be working for you
chalky - glad to see you have the priorities right...getting the wooly stuff in its new place;)... when do you return to Spain?
MrsTwins - the blanket is stunning, flowers are my favourites (as you know) it always gives me a little tingle when I see one of my squares in a SIBOL blanket and especially one for the Dingle's :D

Better go get sorted, hoping to get some more of the baby blanket done tonight

    TTFN love to all

Good Morning one and all and special love tucked in. I think moving in is like shifting sand -- you keep moving stuff but grains/bits keep slipping away. BUT I am now on about sweep number 40000000000000000000 and all of a sudden I really can see things starting to come together! I have not found my Mojo in a box yet!

Pippa -- Lovely sleepovers-- you So deserve some lovely times!
Kathy-- We are driving up through France again on our return journey near the end of June-- Does your DOH need a Dave again? It would be lovely to see you if you have not moved!
sHAZ-- Glad the dizziness has eased!
ISom -- Hope you are feeling a bit less stressed at work-- Holiday soon!
Kinsey-- How are you-- I missed you when I was away sooo long!
Jean-- Hope you are OK and having fun!
    F1-- You OK?
Purple Teddy Bear,Pfungi,Ginnyknit,Happy Crafter,Kniiter Nan,Old Tractor,Salome,Just Laura,Anakat to name but a few:):) Hope happy nd busy.

Well I must get on and catch a few more grains of sand!
Thanks for asking we go back to Spain on Monday-- We had hoped to be in for a bit longer but we sure need a rest!:rotfl:
Try and do a good deed every day.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, went back to hospital yesterday. Hubby is too ill in lots of other ways to have treatment yet for cancer. So they are popping him back in as soon as poss to treat his bladder again. I think if they can get his strength up and solve a few things he may begin treatment. Meanwhile we are just keeping busy and spending time with family and friends while he is able.

Other than that not getting very far, lots of things on the go but cannot settle properley, too busy trying to look after him and do anything he feels like - eg. coffee and cake after a bit of shopping.

hugs to all you lovely people hope life treats us all a bit better soon xx
