Hi everyone; I hope you are all doing well.

Chalky - have a wonderful Mothering Sunday, your first as a grandmother. I am so sorry that you cannot share the day with your own dear mother, but so happy for you that you can enjoy it back in the UK with family all around you. I hope next year that I can enjoy mine back in the UK. Still, I shall have Skype to take the edge off not actually being there!

Hi Moragtodd and a warm welcome to you. I see that Pippa and Roamin have already pointed you in the right direction! I do hope you enjoy it here; we are a very friendly and supportive bunch!

Mrs Twins - I do hope that your begging letter works. I can understand how upset you must be about the charges. I shall go and check SIBOL out in a minute. Well done on that wonderful nomination in Knit Today - well deserved!

Pippa - welcome back. I hope you had a lovely time!

I'm really hoping to get some woolly stuff done over the weekend; I've been busy with my work this week but hope things will calm down for next week!

Have a great day, all of you!

Firstly welcome Morag! Sounds like you have the bug already!! The us/uk terms drive me potty!
Secondly welcome home pippa. Lovely that you had a good break and that OH doing so well! Bet its lovely to be home too though?!
    Chalky have a great weekend!
Mothers day here is a tad delayed as am not up to much; mum doesent know it but her pressie is a day to her fave gardens near where she used to live and we'll meet up with a friend who she really misses!
Quiet weekend here; felt very faint in a shop yesterday so think I may have been overdoing it a bit so will go gently this weekend have ordered a tapestry cushion to keep me out of mischief as my mojo is well and truly switched off at the mo so concluded that a break and something different would be best plan of action!
Hope people are ok...a few MIA's...tooty, red tractor, dppixie, pfungi etc...hope people are ok :)

I just wanted you to know that I am still here and thinking of you all here and at Loving Hands, but

I have sad news about my Dad
As some of you know my wonderful Dad had a fall which caused a subdural hematoma and he‘s been in hospital since 8th
7 months exactly to the day of 8th August when we lost my lovely Mum
    th_thank-you-butterflies.gif

for your messages hugs and prayers
Whilst he was in hospital ...he could hear what we were saying
Was aware of everything ........ and when he could manage to speak he said
Are you alright Hun? .... Have you got enough money for petrol?
I said he didn’t need to be thinking about anything except getting better
I’m sorry ........ I’ll try my best he said
And I know he did ....... Just as he has always done!
But he just couldn’t make it work this time and the last couple of days he couldn’t talk to us and he couldn’t hold our hand
and on Thursday we lost him forever
I told him I wasn’t going to say good bye
Because I know he will always be with me

May, it's so hard to find the words. You and your family are in my thoughts. Your dad was much-loved, and having you as his daughter must have made his life feel very special.
