Hi everyone. I've been having internet connection problems (again!) for the last few days. I have no idea why; maybe it's the weather. We had about two inches of snow the other day; it hasn't snowed since, but it's still very cold here and hasn't gone above freezing for about three days. Oh, roll on the spring; I can't wait! At least it's now February so this cold spell can't last forever .....can it? Anyway, Ihave phoned the Orange helpline and tried all the the things they suggested to sort out the Livebox problem and, as none of them have worked, I shall be calling them again today.
I hope you are all feeling well.

Pippa - great news about your mammogram. Hope OH is doing well.

Jean - I bet you're enjoying some peace and quiet! Thank you so much for keeping tabs on the update; I still can't get more than just code on my new updating blog but, because my connection keeps playing up, I haven't been able to spend much time on it. I also have to fight DH for computer time nowadays. He's been looking at properties for sale in the UK, which I'm thrilled about, but it does mean I have to wait my turn, which is difficult with limited connection time.

Mrs Twins - the blanket is beautiful!

Well, I have another four Geezer squares to add to my totals, and I shall carry on with those for now.

I hope you all have a great day......................................

    Hi

Love the blanket Mrs Twins :-)
Not a lot of news my end of the country. Busy knitting capped fingerless gloves again. I took some for my friends children, and she mistoke her daughter's pair as being for her, so I've got some on the needle for her, because she was disappointed they weren't hers. lol.
Have a blessed and prosperous day. Hugs to all in need ((((hugs)))) Love you all.

    A work in progress :D

oo have I forgotten anyone Im sorry if I have and as always I think of all of you and hope you are well and that any troubles are easing xx

Ive been crunching those numbers (gone potty over pots :D putting money in bank pots to save etc), have been sorting and finishing off to send some parcels (chalky, Mrs Twins, LH), watched a few recorded programmes, have done 25 items of ironing (yesterday!) thats like taking the skin off the pudding :rotfl:, (scaffolding company coming to make safe the remainder!), I stupidly went and helped a neighbour push her car about 3 foot (I forget that I hurt sometimes IYKWIM) now my arms feel like led - I planning on a good de-clutter (you must have heard that so many times from me and its either I have not finished or there is more to add to the piles!)
then Im going to be ebaying

(and I know its very very very rude but I have heard from the Debt Diaries that good money is paid for used knickers :shocked:_pale_:embarasse oh my what ever next! not that this particular lady is lets just say she was "asked" if she would wear the items before selling and the person would pay extra money eeeeekkkkkk urrrgggghhhhh - I have a very open mind and am no prude but realllllllyyyyyyyy - anyway I hope Ive not offended anyone with that offering and that it will make you chuckle

KEEP WARM PLEASE LADIES and look after yourselves - big hugs as always xxxxx

 Hi F1, I`m OK thanks, just been lurking around lately.

Wasn`t sleeping well for a while again and I think once I reach the bottom of the black hole the tiredness catches up and I could sleep for days at a time. Had three days off together this week so got DS out to work then crawled back into bed and slept some more, will eventually be bright eyed and bushy tailed again. Probably need to organise my B12 injection again as well as it`s due so will give a bit of a boost.

Had another birthday last weekend - I`m sure I must have two every year like the Queen as it seems to come around so often :p Was out for lunch with the family on Sunday and am off to the theatre tonight with DD to see Grease. :T Been humming some of the tunes to get in practice and imagine having a wee bop in our seats;)

Was going to be doing lots around the house while off but the `CBA` bug has been and bitten me sooooooooooo - manana it will be.

Have managed to do a lap blanket and am halfway round the border so hopefully will be able to update this weekend. Been nice and cosy sitting with it on my lap so will be sad to see it go.
Very cold here but no snow at the moment anyway. Probably waiting till I have to go to work tomorrow and it will be a blizzard !!

Off to have a cuppa and sit with a book for a while. Went to the library this morning so have a few to choose from.

    Keep warm and cosy everyone.
