feeling ok thanks - been quite tired but also my fault a little as should be taking my iron tablets to help with that!:o not been doing as much knitting as I would like either - plenty of practice contractions & big fat swollen feet
8 weeks or thereabouts to go - however I haven't reached due date with last two babies so expect will be a little early again with this oneBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Morning ladies
sock-k - oh sweetheart i sat and read your post and cried - i could send hubby to pick you up right now! My heart goes out to you - such an awful situation - feel so helpless - pm when ever you want - even if all we can do is listen and send you a virtual hug - hoping you feel better today xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ptb - i know exactly what you mean - am quite often like that with the knitting (and other things!) Try something small to get the flow back - there must be something they are putting in the air at the moment .... I thought at the weekend when i saw LH challenges "oh im not sure what i can achieve" but decided that i would knit some pull on hats for the boxes (like ive been doing for friend for her church)
ANother idea for using up stash (quite easy and dont need much mushy brain power - my brain often mushy!) is to put two balls of wool together - cast on about 20 st and just garter stitch a scarf - (I use 8mm needles quite big needles) you get a lovely tweedy effect
Thats why i liked it when chalky posted she would like some baby hats for spain and squares - I like to be given a bit of nudge to get me going
Oh I thought of another for you (and yes I know dont groan at me!)
Shezmit every year (and i think LH does it too) likes prem baby hats in xmas red, green, gold so that the babys born over xmas have a special xmas one - i do the prem knot hats do first couple of rows in white (the ribbing) then i carry on in red - just something different and small enough to get too stressed about.
isom - oh you look lovely and you look as friendly and lovely as you sound (iykwim!) - when we dont "see" people you imagine what they are like xxx
don - great to hear how you are we were wondering about you last week - cant wait to see the new baby - us aunties love new babies! xxx
Oh blow my parcels went off with hubby to post office and then ive just read chalky away for a few days - hope it does not cause a problem for her - mrs m - just to let you know parcel on way to you too! xxxx
Well i had better go school mum coming round with two boys .......
Hope you all have a lovely day and those that are feeling low feel a little brighter soon xxxxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -
aww thanks F1...tbh I look at it and just think how fat I look...I think I imagine myself alot smaller so when I see how big Ive got its yuck...but still cant stop myself eating
Have asked GP to refer me re stomach stapling (have tried everything else and just put it all back on) as have accepted that Im just one of those people who have to be forced not to eat. Best mate saw the piccy and said were you saying "come on mum just take the picture"...which I was, she knows me too well!!
socky hope today is better for you...you are in my prayers.
Were having a quiet day here (first time in days!) and I have councelling this eve and possibly a violin lesson if we can fit it in! very exciting!
Have cast on my cardi again! Am on the way with my dress for LH challenge and like it so much i want to make sommat in same for me! Am resisting due to large wool stash.
Have also ordered a book on designing your own knitting. Having an enormous bust (as noted by caracature artist on Sat!!) I find it hard to get stuff that is flattering so am going to have a bash at it! Fingers crossed!
Don very excited re baby!
F1 how are you doing generally?
Miol and chalky hope youre having fun with family!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
afternoon all, seems quiet on here today, hope your enjoying time with your families, or knitting or whatever it is you have planned for today.
feel much better than last night, still have the horrible smell of smoke in the house, and have spoken to daniel, and he says he likes lighting fires, but knows it is both wrong and dangerous, i need to keep a closer eye on him.
today i have finished a pair of socks for myself and a pair for joshua, just have daniel's pair on needles right now, but going to have a break from them. might do some more teddies, or boobs, or school jumpers, or baby stuff, so many things to do, i cant make my mind up lol
hugs all

Hi shaz, am glad you are feeling better. there is only so much you can do to keep an eye on your boys, I know even though mine are still only young yet.... they always find something to get upto.
If he likes fires, does he also like fire engines etc - any way you could arrange a visit to a local fire station for him to meet the firefighters and see the engines up close/try out the extinguishers & hose? I know you said they are teenagers but it could still be interesting to him? sorry if it is probably a silly idea on my part lol!
I think all boys have a natural interest in fire when growing up - am sure my husband & his 4 brothers did and I know I was interested in it too - probably makes for a bad combination in my boys! :eek:BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0
