Hi all how lovely to see you may - oh my I just cant get over how many bad things have happened makes me take stock of my problems really - I just wish you were nearby we all would have a go at helping im sure (although plumbing is not a strong point in this household - hubby is electrical and vehicle - mine is housework and paperwork tee hee) oh and i love cutting grass and weeding when my energy is up

kathy - hope you are having a great time with family xxx
roamin - has shocked me as she looks so young in her pic for loving hands - thanks for your help the other night on LH xxx
whilst waiting for new challenges i made a "clicker" showing balls of wool to be used i thought 50 would be about right well its actually 77 (whoops no sign of a problem with wool there then!) in my defence some of those balls are not all full ones .....
pol - congratulations Nannie and love to all the family xxxx
sock-knitter - hope things are little easier in the last few days - thinking of you xxx
I would also like to say that I accomplished 3 baskets of ironing yesterday (122 items - yes very sad counting them but think it comes from working in an office all those years! - this amount included tea towels and pillowcases etc) and then low and behold i turned my back and there was another load in basket and one more load to wash - where does it come from????? Its my own fault mushy head for last few weeks has meant that housework was not really up to date - still jobs are now being ticked off list (dont know how long this will last though!!)
ANyway will catch up again soon - hugs to all jaqui xxxDebt Diary: Im not going to be an Ostrich anymore -LBM - 16/1/12 /0 -

Hi Girls
I need your help and advice!!
I have a problem – I have lost (and I really mean lost) my mojo for absolutely everything, particularly the knitting thing. I made the mistake of sorting (well, rearranging shall we say) my stash last night, and it just made me cry. I have so much yarn that I don’t know what to do with; have absolutely no inclination to do anything with and really can’t be bothered to do anything with. This is so not like me it’s all a little scary. I just feel overwhelmed – maybe I am ready for a holiday! (thankfully, we are off in the middle of next week for 10 days)
I have lots of bits of balls I need to use before I even start tackling the stash where there are big balls and enough to make things for the family (I have quite a few packets of 6 and 10 50g balls that I have an idea of what I am going to do with it….I just need to get to it). I have done Innocent Smoothie hats (but have lost the oomph to do any more); I guess I could do boobs (as someone always needs them), and there are always Teddies for Tragedy etc – but I need some ideas for something different that will enable me to get this stash mountain down as it’s dragging me down with it!!!
So – any ideas welcome, and if anyone would like anything, please let me know what you’re looking for and I will have a look to see if there is anything there. There is nothing posh/expensive in there, I know it’s all relatively cheapie stuff, but I guess it’s what you make with it that counts!! Any ideas and pointing in the right direction would be great, and remember, I can only do the knitting thing and not the one-handed hooky thing!!
Thanks for listening – I feel better getting it out of my system as it were.
With love,
Dawn xx:hello:0 -

PTB - sounds as though you are really run down and in need of rest and cherishing.
Don't do anything now, see how you feel after your holiday.
If you still feel overwhelmed then then see if you can find a local knitting group - a combination of human contact and shared targets could help and you may well find people who could put the oddments to good use.
Alternatively, give all the bits and bobs to a charity shop freeing you to tackle something that you actually want to do. No point in a hobby becoming a misery!
If this feeling is spreading to all areas of your life, then again I'd say do nothing until after the holiday, but then you might want to consider something like counselling? Or speaking to your GP?
ISOM - hope that wedding was fun - you looked fab! - and that new meds have less wobble side effects for Mum0
