for being missing and not contacting anybody :o

I have just been into my email and found all the messages etc left for me from people on here :A

thanksforbeingthere.gifflowers_aha.gif

Too much to go into to explain all the reasons for me not being around but here’s a quick summary of some main points
Have been really struggling for the last couple of months;
M.E. has been **++**!!**********, ........
you know about Mum being in the care home and I’m really struggling having to face the fact that she is not likely to be able to come home, unless one of the family win the lottery!!!!!
I’m an only child, Dad is practically housebound and struggling to even get around the house, since he was taken ill last November, Mum went into respite for a week; I had my heart attack/angioplasty (all in the same 2 weeks)
Mum’s only brother lives 60 miles away & we are his only family, he desperately wants to move near to us as he is in his 80’s and lives alone (confirmed bachelor)
He had a cardiac arrest a couple of yrs ago, was resuscitated & put into an induced coma & packed in ice for 2 wks. His house was in a regeneration area and 4 months after he came out of hospital we moved him into a bungalow near his original house, the 120 mile round trip is obviously more of a problem now with everything else that’s going on. He’s always been self sufficient and never worried about being on his own, ... but now that all of his friends have passed on, the area has changed so much etc he has started to worry about being so far away from us , so I really need to try ‘n find him a place here
Just when I am needed the most ... I can’t do the things I need / want to do for people grrrr
Never mind any of the things I’d like to do ... haven’t had a holiday since 2004 and last day out was at the stables 2006
I only get so much ‘can do time’ on a good day and lately, for days/weeks at a time I have lost all track of everything /wonder how long I have been wearing the same pj’s/washed my hair etc
Because I can’t do things, sort things out, etc I feel really sad /frustrated/annoyed
OH has had to move location with his job and we’ve had to change the car because ours was costing too much for the travelling ..... but hey at least he’s still got his job
I’ve been practically housebound myself since the end of 2006 except for going to Dads and visiting Mum in the homewhich I haven’t been able to do very often,(& being in hospital lol)
DD has had to do so much and at the moment she is really bad with her legs/back (permanent problems following car crash that she was lucky to survive and can’t get about)
DS2 has been having probs with diabetes, finding a job, dealing with all the other things going on
DSI still struggling since being medically discharged from the army and so many recent losses/funerals from his regiment isn’t helping
The combi boiler stopped giving us hot water the day b4 .........
The kitchen ceiling fell in & gave us an indoor water feature as we had a pipe dripping in the bathroom that we didn’t know about as they are in the wall, so we didn’t even have hot water to clean (we only re did the kitchen 12 mths ago inc a new ceiling following the 1st leak ) blah blah blah ... enough :eek::o:eek:

Anyway, hope I’m forgiven for being missing ?!?**
I will try to keep up .............. and will post an update at the week-end

All of the things you have made are really lovely, it’s super to be able to see the pics!!

phew thank goodness for that I was getting really worried May...sorry to hear that things have been very tough for you...definately a never rains category me thinks...hope things settle down soon for you. Big hug from me.
Roaming sorry you have shingles...now at least may has provided you with pringles so all should be well!
Getting ready for wedding today as its early start tomorrow and I need to wash top etc...mum ventured out yesterday with new buss pass and manged to fall twice ...apparently her shoes which were too loose and she was very impressed by people who helped her; gave her tea and woman from shoe shop came to get her from cafe and helped her find a sturdy paid of shoes. Bless her her face is bruised, as is her knee and were now hoping that the next adventure out will be less eventful! Am getting her a new mobile as hers has died so at least she can ring for rescue and were getting her an id thing as well. she is very frustrated by it all so were just trying to be practical and getting on with it.
Must on as have to pick wedding pressie up...hugs for all!
