Hello all
Not been around as I have been having health problems, saw my consultant a couple of weeks ago and he said my last blood tests showed I have some levels that are too low. Had another test am now waiting to see if I need a transfusion, no wonder I have felt like I have been wading through treacle.
I did get my normal treatment last week so am hoping things will take a turn for the better soon. I did take some knitting with me but I am an awkward so and so to cannulate and they managed to get me right in the crook of the elbow so didn't want to risk blocking it.
Glad that the squares arrived Mrs Twins. I did worry that they looked a bit rough and ready but hope they will help keep someone warm.
Hope to get my knitting mojo back soon and get back into the swing of things. If I do end up staying in hospital for any length of time I will have at least have plenty of time to knit.

Hi everyone, we`re back again from the Loving Hands weekend shenanigans.
Had a good time helping out at the sale on Saturday, although it wasn`t as busy as we hoped. However Lou was pleased with the amount raised and is hoping to have another one in the spring time.Met up with quite a few LH members, both local and some from further afield, a lovely bunch of ladies. It was open house at Lou`s on the Sunday and she did her best to empty her Gaffer`s Den (shed) into various people`s car boots. Hmm, there`s still loads of stuff in it though. I thought she was going to disappear under a wooly mountain at one point and no, I didn`t bring any home with me. I have more than enough to be going on with.
Back to normality now though, must have a sort through my own woolly mountain and see what I can do next. I think my woolly mojo is hiding somewhere or maybe it has gone into hibernation with this miserable weather. Really can`t be bothered doing much at the moment, everything seems to need toooooo much effort.
Off to read back and see what you`ve all been up to in my absence.

hello salome - good to see you - hope you are ok xx
knitter nan - sorry to hear you have been unwell - hope you are back up and running soon xx
psso - oooo how could you resist some goodies in your car boot - I would not have been able to - its a shame it was not as busy as hoped.
Like you my knitting mojo may have gone off somewhere has been for a while now - felt a little improvement after the challenge release from Lou - I know it sounds daft but Ive got so bogged down with trying to make chrissie presents so will be pleased to get back into some charity work again and the squares dont take a lot of grey cells
Hope mojo returns soon (if it has mine with it could you tell it its time to come home!) xxx
Just got couple of rows left of gloves for christmas and then the dreaded sewing up then want to get on with some LH stuff

knitter nan hope you feel less like treacle soon! Sure your bits and bobs were lovely!
F1 did you enjoy the racing at the weekend?
Psso do you think our mojo's may have gone on a winter adventure?!!
Salome there are a few wooly places; john lewis, big knitters (who are in the process of moving from wellfield road to whitchurch road so ring before you visit lol!), calgon yarns which are a bit posh I am told and shima beads on cowbridge road do some king cole wool...
Just about to dig in to the scarfy thing Ive been crochetting but its going to run out of wool I think and I really dont want to buy more
Hope people are well...big huge for those that need them!
Sorry we wont see you at knitting group seakwy but look forward to seeing you for the "do" (which I must book!!) at Christmas!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Hi everyone.
Knitter Nan - hope you feel better soon.
I'm just popping in to say that I'm still around but still trying to shake off the last bit of this bug; it's on the way out but, boy, it's reluctant to go! Thank heavens it will be all gone by Christmas!
I'm another one who's wondering where her mojo has gone, but I'm sure it's because I've been unwell. I'll try again this evening.
We've had some trick or treaters here tonight, just local children (and their parents, of course), but they've all been dressed really well for Halloween. The trouble is they're all so cute, they just can't be really scary, but I did pretend to be frightened when I opened the door! Now I'm fancying some of the leftover sweeties, so I think I'll be munching on them tonight.
Anyway, hope you are all having a good evening, and I'll see you tomorrow.

Good morning peeps! A really cheeky post from me this morning as I'm on the scrounge - does anyone have a spare Tesco coupon for the lovely pans that have been on offer? My dear neighbour Pamspal needs 1 more to be able to buy a wok as an xmas gift.
I'm taking little dog to the beauty parlour this morning - she's having her nails done!! I've usually managed to do them myself but she wriggles so much, getting quite frantic = its really hard work single handed and she sulks for an eternity so I'm hoping this will be a better experience.
I'll let you know how it goes.
luv

Morning all, hope all poorlies are feeling a bit better.
ISOM some of your weekend sounds great, you're very brave.
knitternan sounds like you're having a horrid time, hope the treatment goes well.
prfungi why is it that all the dogs I've ever known hate getting claws clipped and act as if you've done them a permanent injury? Bunty used to get one cut and do a lap of honour round the room, then have to have a treat. Oscar gets up and walks away.
As for mojos shall we try giving them a jolly good talking to and send them home?
Lots of love. xxx0 -
Hi
We are all well thanks f1 widow. Been busy with all sorts, but couldn't tell you what lol !!!!!!!
Thanks for the wool shop names ISOM. I will see if I can get to one of them. John Lewis probably. My Cardiff lad lives on top of the center there, so he's not that far away from JLs :-) Not that I need to buy anything, just I prefer to look at wool than I do clothes :-)
Have a blessed and prosperous day all of you, and hugs for all in need ((((hugs)))) Love you all.
