The other thing, Caracara, is that you need to keep anything you use on it (rolling pins, knives, and so on) separate from those you would use for food. Here's a bit of useful info http://www.jaedworks.com/clayspot/polyclay-faq/safety.html

Hellp to one and all -- and of course lots of luck tucked in xx
Well we have had a lovly day with two friends coming for lunch.DOH'S back is somewhat easier thanks to lots of lying on the floor and repeated sessions of very gentle exercises!

I am off to do an hours Reiki later at the local Yoga Centre-- All the proceeds go to help a school in Sri Lanks so a very good cause

Kathy do you want us to post the number of strips we have made for the homeless and elephant blankets for thr update!

If so I have made 2 strips for the homeless this week!

Tomorrow it is my challenge to sit and concentrate on the remaining cardi front for little Gilberto !
Try and do a good deed every day.

Hi everyone - I'm still trying to shake off the horrid bug I've had, so I'm not spending much time on here lately.

Pam - thanks; what a lovely way to start Sunday off! He's very tasty, isn't he?!

Chalky - yes, please. I'll try and get last week's update tomorrow. I'm just finding it difficult to concentrate at the moment!

Caracara - it really should carry warnings, especially as it's so obvious that children would like to use it.

Well, I'm off for another cuppa. I think it's only good old British tea that's kept me going this last week!

Have a great Sunday, and I hope you've all been able to enjoy that extra hour in bed!

The last few days I have been working on crochet Homeless squares and have so far used up a whole bag of odd balls and just started on another, surprising how far little bits will go when doing centres or just one granny round...:)

sorry been awol forgot to say that I was away to a weekend with 12 young people in Mid Wales doing an out of bounds type thing! Am absolutely cream crackered as left 7am Fri and got back 6pm this eve...an eventful few days but overall good! Had a go at canoeing (fell in twice and gave up as frozen to the core!), archery, rifle shooting (was quite good at it!), making fire without matches and the ultimate abseil down a 30ft wall which for me being absolutely terrified of heights was a real achievement; had a cry at the bottom (was so releived to touch ground!!) and was given a hug by two of the young people which was very special! Suffice to say my arms kill, I was filthy and very proud of the kids who overcame their own fears and went for it which was very inspiring! Dont think I would have had a go if they hadnt been so fab!
Did a bit of crochet but not huge amount!
Pfungi lovely to see you; gentle hugs for you and thank you for coming out to say hello :)
Socky great that you have the support you need at home...well done for asking for help; no failure at all as you are getting what you need for now.
