hi everyone, not feeling too well just now, felt tired, so went for a lie down at 3, and woke about ten mins ago, head feels really fuzzy.
council have no to swap unless loft is put back to its original condition.

thats very kind of you i had a rummage at my local charity shop and got some there just need to know what stitch i am to use getting a bit over excited and keenThanks to all :A

cracara, welcome to the thread, you can use any stitch u like for the squares, so if your a beginner, i would start with plain knit stitch
kinsey, some time ago, i had the loft boarded out, the walls plaster boarded, lights and plug sockets installed etc, its a really lovely office/craft room.
unfortunatly i didnt get permission for it doing from the council, so they are asking, me to rip it all out, and put it back into its unusable state, as council house lofts are supposed to be, and til the work is done, i cant swap:(
and i cant afford it just now, as i am only on basic ESA

thank you soo much i will get going,
last year i knitted a load of little hearts for the childrens society ( it was called the big stitch) and got work to sponser me i raised just over £100 and they all paid up even thou some examples were very poor.
if you like doing tiny projects i think it is still on their site i will cast on and give it a go i will let you know when i ve done few rows xThanks to all :A

Shaz beaurocracy gone mad again. Can't the lady say she would like it left as it is? I certainly would. I know you're supposed to get permission but it's not like it's changed the look of the house.

welcome caracara! I started with squares and was away! Tend to be a bit of a flitterer, going from one craft to the next.
Socky so sorry to hear about the roof space...flipping ridiculous isnt it...sorry that new tabs not great but bear in mind they do take a while but sometimes you just know theyre not right dont you!
Busy with piggies, owls etc here Mum assisting with snowmen which are pretty much done.
Typically woke at 6 so up to update and now going back to bed in the hope of more sleep. Shiomi is off for jabs this am! Growing rapidly but still v cute!
Mum home and apparently has a virus and Im fighting something so a nice quiet weekend for me...

sock-knitter - :mad::mad::mad: this happened to OH's Nan - we had carpeted the house for her (carpets were less than 12 months old) and they wanted to charge her for the carpets being there we thought they would do
next person a good turn - also they wanted repairs done that we had not even done but last tenant had xx

Regarding my health - Dr spoke to me yesterday he is pretty certain about the Fibromyalgia diagnosis but says he is going to write to Consultant at Hospital for advice

:hello:caracara you will love it in here we are a friendly bunch, anything you want to know just ask, with the squares any stitch is ok whatever you want to do, you will soon get into the swing of things, I will try and post a link to one of the squares site's, but I am not very techie so don't hold your breath;)... O and BTW congrats on giving up smoking, I know how hard that is, its been 11 years since I gave up and I am so glad I did,

notjustlaura - Sands blankets look really good when they are finished don't they, I tried 1 this time and was surprised how quickly it grew and the edging was easier than I thought it would be as well:)
kinsey - how's the christening gown coming along?
Oh's hands have been so cold for a while now, I think it must be because of the Morphine, so I knitted him some handwarmers with thumbs in, they seemed to do the trick :T
Off to have a quick look at Mrs Twins on SIBOL when I have done my update, wonder if she has done the draw yet ...and its L/H challenge weekend as well
