Hi all.
ISOM - I hope your mum gets well soon. Like you, I think I have a cold starting - just what I needed but, having said that, it's better to have it now than at Christmas, when we'll be visiting the family!
Mrs Twins - that blanket is stunning, and what an incredible achievement! Well done to you, and all those who have contributed all the gorgeous squares!
Shaz - hope things are going as well as they can for you.
Kinsey - it's really changeable here, too. It looked almost frosty this morning, but the sun is out and it looks as though it will be a lovely day. We shall have to bring some of our frost-tender plants into their winter home in the conservatory tonight - our little orange trees have some proper oranges on them and we would hate to lose them to the cold!
Well, I think I'll go and put the kettle on. I woke up later than usual so I haven't had my usual quota of wake-me-up coffee yet!

mioliere looked like frost here too, but the sun has come out now, in fact it's warmer out than in but that's because this is such an old cottage I think.
I found a small amount of yarn in a charity shop, 3 and 4 ply, so with the 3ply I've started a tiny christening gown. If it ever gets finished it'll be a minor miracle.
Love to all you very quiet ladies, tiptoeing out now. xxx0 -

Just a wee check in from me this evening.
I'm knitting in the evenings mostly just now and am working on my second SANDS shawl. I've done all the increases to make the first two sides of the square and am on the decreases now.
I heard today that there's a new Cats Protection Branch opening locally so I'm hoping they'll take the animal blankets I have ...
Best wishes to all.Household: Laura + William-cat
