Anne, you make sure you keep an eye on what OH is up to.....only because I know I am - knickers outside the trousers lately - SUPERWOMAN constantly being told to sit down and take it easy, cannot believe you have looms you haven't tried out on a test run yet, so good luck with that over the weekend, let us know how you fair?
Mrs Moneypenny - can you please eat some of the cakes for ME?
F1 What channel for Tenko?? Please I will see if I can find it on one of the dishes....we had to have three, so DH wouldn't miss out on any bike racing!
He is getting ready to pack up the camper and off south to follow the start of Le Tour next weekend - hope he remembers to pick up DS at the airport on the way - now that could be embarrassing.
My birthday box arrived from my LH birthday buddy this morning as well as a Fairy box from my Dear Wee Sister, so I shall now go and thank them both - will call back a bit later onThe Hooligan Wooligan – age 9¾

Hello everyone and lots of love to everyone -- Special thoughts coming your way Pippa and Doh and Jean---- Please just keep on getting better and better
"
Well I know it is hard to "know" people here in our virtual world and really look into their lives but if you could look into DOH's and mine there has been a very patient but longed for moment in our lives with 3 children -- 31,30 and 24 and now that time has come for us!!!!!!!
Our first Grandchild is due to join us in December and to say the smiles are wide and excitement high is an understatement!!!!! Except for DD2 in Oz who just promptly burst into tears on Skype when our son told her!!
So I will go and just smooth some baby wool but send lots of love to all special friends both old and new!Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
Chalky - I can't tell you how delighted I am to hear your fantastic news! It's a wonderful club you're joining, it really is! The scan is amazing - so clear. That's your dear little grandson or granddaughter there, and he or she will be so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents! When you see that baby for the very first time, it's like falling in love - there's no feeling on earth like it! I'm sure there'll be a lot of smoothing of baby wool in the months to come. Please give my heartfelt congratulations to your DS and DIL.

ps i have a set of the wooden looms too, they still in the packet unopened, must have been in the loft for the last year or two, must give them a go when i get backloves to knit and crochet for others0 -
Hi everyone, not been here for a few days and what do I see when I pop in ?? A scan picture ?? Beautifully clear too.
Chalky - Terrific news !! How lovely for you and DH to hear that your DS and DDiL are expecting a NAPPY event. Bet you are all so excited. Something to look forward to in the dark days of winter. Hope she keeps well and doesn`t have too many problems with sickness etc.
Well, things are gradually improving here. The dressing is off, bruising fading and pain is not as bad so I can now knit and play about on the `puter again !! It has been sooo boring having to sit around doing nothing. I don`t mind sitting but my hands like to be busy so it was very frustrating. Couldn`t even do much on the computer as my arm was too painful.
I`m also allowed to drive again so that`s a relief as well. Hate having to rely on other folk for lifts to the shop etc. I`m so used to being independant that it was difficult to ask for help.
Still having to rest a bit but gradually getting back to normal - well as near normal as possible in my case.
Have started doing some Innocent smoothie hats as they are nice and small and quick to do, and use up lots of little bits lying in the basket.
Off to catch up with what`s been happening, back later.
