Mrs Moneypenny I know that the snowmen I make on the knitting machines for the local school fete just fly off the table at two euros each.......just different colour scarves and hats and there is a 'feeding frenzy' between the wee boys and girls as to which to buy - I did 50 last year and was asked for more prior to the Christmas school choliday (I stitched all the features and buttons etc) ...a really great earner for the funds. I have actually seen the patterns on line for the wooden ones (which are a fortune to buy) so perhaps I should set DH a challenge for that !
Love and squishy cuddles to you all.

    Hello everyone
Just a fairly quick post :)

Firstly thank you for your kind concern, good wishes and prayers for OH, he has come through the op very well and thankfully is now at home where I can spoil him a bit...not too much dont want him getting too used to it ;)...
An appointment will be sent through then we will know the results of the bi-opsy on the tumour,

We went down to theatre with him, as far as the door anyway.
I have nothing but praise for the new Queen Elizabeth here in Birmingham, everyone was so helpful and caring and told us everything that was going on every step of the way.

Thank's also to those of you who sent PM's it means a lot and was much appreciated :A

Off to mash potatoes and grate some cheese into them, and a yoghurt for pud, nice and easy for him to eat.
Then a leisurly afternoon with the woolly stuff planned while he dozes on the sofa

    TTFN

will try and pop back later
  • Encouraging news Anne, so I am keeping positive thoughts coming your way...... glad to hear it was a fantastic hospital/staff - makes all the difference too. Get the feet up and have a rest as well - worry sure does take it out of you.

glad to hear you are feeling positive and things are going well Anne, i will also be sending lots of positive vibes your way and hope he continues on a path of good recovery. you take care and get plenty of rest yourself.

just back from taking youngest DS to hospital to see orthodontist, waited 1 1/2 hours for a 5 minute appt one xray and to be told ome back next year and well see how things are looking then, this is exactly what happened lat year! oh no wait he didnt get the xray last year just the come back in 12 months. its cost me a day off work and £20 in taxis im glad we only do it once a year. upside is i took my knitting so while we were waiting and chatting i got a few rows done.

    hugs to all

RIGHT KNITTERS PreemiesUK IS SENDING A PLEA OUT. just been told that SANDS are running out of Blankets for their memory boxes. So i am asking my knitters to send me their blankets and we will send a big parcel of blankets and help them. I am asking for 100 blankets and if we can get more that would be fantastic. Do you think we can get that amount.
