Hi all, wet and miserable here.

Had to go shopping for food though and a new microwave too as the old one was playing up. Taking faaaaar to long to heat things through so obviously seriously on the blink.

f1 - I`ve already tried pm`ing the original poster on the MSE thread for Lisas stars but had no response as yet. Yesterday morning I think it was.

Bought a 50g pack of mixed buttons off ebay which came today. Bit disappointed as most of them are really tiny about 8mm, some are about 10/11mm, some slightly bigger. I wanted them for putting on jumpers and cardies for LH but they won`t do. Can any of you use them for some other crafty type of thing ? Jean for embellishing stitched things ? Anyone for cardmaking ? If so give me a shout.

Got my two cardies with the detatchable fronts finished and have found enough buttons for them and have done most of the back of another boy`s cardie, different pattern this time.

It`s nice being at home in the evening instead of at work, so have extra knitting time. Evenings are not meant for house***k, so I`m getting a bit more wooly stuff done.
Hmmm, I`ll have something for the update later this week.

Socky & Pam - hope you have a nice afternoon together with your coffee, cake, patterns and chat. Lovely.

I`m just off to have a cuppa and a piece of walnut cake I bought at asda today so I`ll be thinking of you. Cheers.

    Elaine.

Hi all, this is the message I got back from the original poster on MSE re lisa`s stars.

Thank you for getting in contact with me.

The PO BOX address to send items is: Lisa's Stars
    PO Box 653
    Swansea
    SA1 9LL

These go direct to Lisa and then are posted out to the reps to pass onto the hospitals.

We need blankets, hats, teddies, angel wraps and cosi's as well as booties and cardi's.

Because the babies are born between 16-34 weeks the blankets range from A4-A3 paper sized and the hats range from Golf Balls to Tennis Balls.

If you have any more questions please email me direct at ............................ because I dont check this site very often.

If anyone wants the lady`s email send me a pm as I didn`t want to make it too public.

ETA - Snap Dawn, didn`t read the postings, just passed on the pm.
