You might remember about 2 years ago my now DDIL asked me to teach her how to knit-- she soon mastered that and then wanted to learn how to crochet.
Well the pupil soon outshone the teacher and she has just texted me to say she has made a Facebook page to exhibit her work if you are interested here is the link

Well she got the bug didnt she chalky! Lovely things...hope she sells some! Does she have a craft/market place locally where she could do a stall?
Busy day sewing here...quilt is coming on but grrr run out of 1 fabric so may not be able to do it until next weekend which is annoying as shop is miles away!
Psso sorry you didnt get away but much nicer to go when youre not feeling cold and winswept!

evening all, hugs to all the poorlies
another weekend over, and its monday again tommorrow :j
decided i'd like to have a go at patchwork, so yesterday bought some lovely fabric, my sons say its an excuse to buy somet as i said i would reduce my wool stash lol.
daniel is knitting himself a scarf, and was well pleased that i ran up a bag on the machine and embroidered his name on the front to keep his knitting in.
my mum has made quite a few buntings teddies and hats, but i havent counted them, to be honest i'm having a cider.
i would love to knit some items for chalkys aunt dorothy, unfortunatly my printer gave up months ago. so a big ask, but could somebody please print the operation christmas child patterns and the purse pattern for me, i will of course pay postage costs.
i could write them down, but i always make mistakes when copying numbers etc

Hi Pam and Dawn - hope life is treating you both well. Pam - that was so kind of you inviting Sock-Knitter over for what sounds like a real treat! I wish I could be there!

ISOM - I hope you get your fabric soon; I know how frustrating it is to run out of materials!

Well, as you can see, I am up early this morning! I think DIL2 is on my mind with it now being just a week until her due date. I spoke to DS2 last night and it seems that baby is staying put for now! They will Skype this evening, hopefully.

Anyway, I've already done the update, mainly because Jean has made the spreadsheet so easy to do! Chalky - your name is the last on the sheet simply because I don't know how to alphabetise! I will consult 'The Oracle who is Jean' and ask her to put you in sequence!

I have added 1 more purse to my totals
