hope everyone s well or as well as can be
finally work is finished 1/2 term was ok but chaotic, the boys spent it sleeping on mattresses in cold rooms as the builder took the radiators off and the painter wouldnt put them back on so had to ring up and arrange a builder to come back. (we came this morning) so rads are now back on, cant do much this week apart from the gloss as the carpets arent coming till next monday so cant start putting furniture back till after then.
have finished DS friends scarf but feeling lazy as i havent done any good cause knitting for ages. will start again once the house is square if that ever happens.

Thanks for the link, Jean. I see on that thread that Innocent Smoothie hats are ideal. It seems so sad that a hat so small will fit a little one that didn't survive but it's a wonderful reason to make them. NO rain here a the moment, and it's looking quite bright!

Good Morning to one and all -- and lots of love too x
Well we crawled into bed last night after a lovely greeting and pick up from the coach from DD1 and Buster!
Slept really well but of course just after 5 we were both wide awake because of the big time difference. So washing is on, suitcases unpacked and lots of memory stashing.
Thank you all for such kind wishes-- we had the most amazing time and have so many happy memories.
Well -- Jean - you were absolutely right, no problem with plastic needles and a bamboo crochet hook -- which kept me busy when travelling. I am always amazed at how calming crafting is!
So now its review time. I think I might have a look at Loving Hands challenge and get back on track with some Charity knitting. Love the little cross over jumper!
I also want to make a king size ripple for my nephews wedding in August. So I think I will run the 2 in tandem to have a change.
Well I want to spend some time reading back through the thread but have too much to do at the mo!
So will just say a special hello for now.Try and do a good deed every day.0 -
